Journi is an app designed to turn your photos into beautiful keepsakes like Photo Books, Calendars, and Prints, effortlessly.

We use a smart AI Photo Book creator that acts as your personal designer. Simply select your photos, and our AI instantly organizes them into a beautiful, story-driven layout in seconds, saving you hours of work.

You can use both! Our app for iPhone and Android offers the fastest, most convenient experience because your photos are already on your phone. However, you can also upload photos and design your projects on a bigger screen using our website on your desktop or laptop.

Yes! You can easily grant the Journi app access to your Google Photos library to pull in memories. You can also upload photos directly from your computer to our website.

Currently, it’s not possible to upload photos directly from Instagram. The best way is to save your favorite Instagram pictures to your phone’s camera roll first, and then add them to your Journi project.

Thanks to our AI, creating an initial draft is incredibly fast, taking a matter of seconds to sort and lay out hundreds of photos. From there, people typically spend 10-20 minutes adding personal touches, like writing captions and customizing themes, to make their photobook perfect.

Absolutely! Your photos tell a story, and your words bring it to life. You can easily add, edit, and move text boxes on any page, and choose from a variety of beautiful fonts to match your style. It's the perfect way to make a Photo Book with text.

Our Photo Books are incredibly flexible to fit your story. They start at a minimum of 25 pages and can go all the way up to 349 pages for our Hardcover and Softcover books. For our premium Layflat Photo Book, the maximum is 103 pages due to its special binding and extra-thick paper.

Our designer-made themes are the best place to start! Here are a few tips:

• Keep it simple: Don't overcrowd pages. Let your best photos shine.
• Use consistent themes: Stick to one or two complementary fonts and colors throughout.
• Tell a story: Arrange your photos chronologically. Our AI does this for you automatically!
• Upgrade to layflat: For a truly professional, high-end feel, upgrade to a Layflat Photo Book with layflat binding. All Layflat Photo Books are printed on satin paper, and they make the perfect stylish coffee table books.

Once you’ve placed an order, you can check its status in the "Orders" section of your Journi account. We'll also send you a confirmation email when it ships, which will include a tracking link if you’ve chosen a tracked shipping method.

Every Journi product is printed on demand with great care. Our production process typically takes 2 - 5 business days. After that, shipping times vary by location:

  • Standard: 2 - 10 business days (Standard Shipping is free if the order value is above 35 USD)

A Layflat Photo Book is a premium album made with a special binding that allows the pages to open and lay completely flat with no curving or bulging in the center. It's perfect for showcasing panoramic landscape photos or creating an impressive, professional-quality wedding photo album.

We use high-quality, sustainably sourced paper for our Photo Books, which is thick and has a beautiful finish. You can choose between stylish matte or vibrant glossy paper when creating your Photo Book. Our paper is FSC-certified, meaning it’s sourced from forests managed responsibly. Our Layflat books use an even thicker, waterproof satin paper designed to feel like traditional photo prints.

Yes! Our products are created with sustainability in mind. Our paper is FSC-certified, meaning it comes from sustainably managed forests. Plus, our local manufacturing helps cut transportation emissions. We also proudly partner with Plant-for-the-Planet, planting trees to help offset our carbon footprint.

A traditional photo album is typically a book with empty sleeves where you slide in your physical photo prints. A Photo Book is a professionally printed book where your photos, text, and designs are printed directly onto the pages, just like a high-end book from a bookstore.

Absolutely. The privacy and security of your memories are our top priorities. Your photos are securely stored, and we never share your personal data. You always maintain full ownership and control over your images.

No problem! All of your creative projects are automatically saved to your Journi account. You can start a vacation Photo Book on your phone on the flight home and finish personalizing it later on your computer. It will be waiting right where you left off.
