Accessibility Statement
At Journi Print, we are committed to ensuring accessibility for all our users, including people with disabilities. We aim to continually improve the user experience and apply the relevant accessibility standards to the best of our ability. This will be done incrementally as we work on any features within the product.
You can find more information on the conclusion of the contract (description of our services, explanations on the implementation of our services) at accessibility@journiapp.com
1.1. Assessment of Accessibility
We have assessed our products (app/website) through internal self-assessments and automated tools, and determined that they only partially comply with accessibility requirements.
Status of this accessibility statement: 22.05.2025
We are committed to ongoing improvements and plan accessibility enhancements by taking the following key steps:
Address accessibility standards during the development cycle, and incorporate an accessibility checklist as part of our release criteria.
Regular internal audits and tests.
Use of accessibility tools to find and fix issues.
1.2. Non-Accessible Content
Some parts of our products are currently not fully accessible:
Images are missing alternative text (alt-text)
Lacking sufficient color contrast between text and background elements
Incomplete keyboard navigation
Error messages are not announced to screen readers.
Buttons and links have non-descriptive labels
Small touch targets on mobile interfaces.
Unpredictable or illogical focus order when navigating with assistive technologies.
Form fields are missing clear labels associated with inputs.
Incorrect heading structure (missing <h1> and skipped heading levels).
Content does not reflow properly at 200% zoom.
Hidden elements are still focusable via keyboard tabbing.
Missing feedback mechanism (no accessible way for users to report accessibility issues).
Missing public Accessibility Statement link online.
Incomplete screen reader support.
Reasons for non-compliance:
Due to legacy systems within our product and technical complexity, we are unable to fully comply. These issues are being addressed progressively.
Older documents and content that are available on the website that were published before 28 June 2025 and where no major changes are planned are exempt from the Accessibility Act.
Alternatives or solutions:
We are actively working on providing accessible alternatives in future updates.
1.3. Evaluation Method
The accessibility evaluation was carried out using:
Internal self-assessments by our product teams.
Automated accessibility auditing tools.
Validation based on the WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
The results and measures taken are documented internally; a full report can be made available if requested.
1.4. Feedback and Contact information:
If you encounter issues when using Journi Print, or have inquiries regarding accessibility, please let us know. You can contact us by email at accessibility@journiapp.com
