Ronda's voyage in United States of America

27 December 2014

Last night in NYC - a little shopping anyone???
Lots of restaurants on canal street. Great little pizza place - food was our biggest expense by far. Cost of eating out in NYC makes Dallas seem cheap.
9/11 memorial - so many stories - so many lives lost that day. A very moving and lovely tribute.
Lines everywhere - good thing we kept purchasing the express pass - we need more time in life just as much if not more than $$
Tallest building in NYC.
Could be Kelly's new home - anyone have a newspaper he could borrow?
A visit to Station Island. Kelly's two older siblings were born here.
Night tour of Manhattan. Great the first hour and a half then got stuck in traffic w thousands of other people here for the same reason as us - all part of the New York experience.
Our Lady of Liberty - fun boat ride out to see her.
Cruise on the Hudson.
Battery Park experience

26 December 2014

A walk to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Fun place to shop and visit.
Best pizza ever!
Now I see what a large city really looks like -
Empire State Building - a must see but defiantly buy the express pass - without that it would have taken 2 hours just to get in the door -
First ride on the subway - we really only got lost once so far - not bad for a bunch of Texans
Baby it's cold outside!
The little lights are definitely twinkling
Follow that star
We fit right in - acting the part

25 December 2014

At Time Square w my beautiful grown children
Time square is a sight not to miss - amazing
Radio City Music Hall -
First trip down in subway - Kelly looking for a bathroom - that's funny stuff!
Central Park - can't possibly walk the whole thing - fun place to visit
The Flame Dinner - time for meal #1.
Thursday, 12/25 Must shop at Tiffany's - I'm sure there's plenty of things I can afford - what?
In A NYC cab listening to Arabic music.
On our way to NYC!!!
At DFW airport. Heading to NYC for Christmas 2014. However we have been sitting on the runway for 30 minutes-small oil leak. All part of the traveling experience.
