Hello we are on the way to WATFORD WARNER BROS STUDIO TOUR
I think my favourite set is Diagon Alley:)
AND BUTTER BEER HOW CAN ONE COMPLETE THE EXPERIENCE WITHOUT BUTTER BEER
And i like how we can be part of the HP experience, flying on magic broomsticks, going into platform 9 3/4, and taking the hogwarts express
Exhibitions of the sets!
These are mainly exhibitions
And of course you have to spam your photos😂😂😂
These are original sets and props used in the movie!
Love the sets and costumes they painstakingly did up for the movie. It's amazing how words can be translated into images that brings the book to life!

26 June 2015
WE HAVE ARRIVED VIA PLATFORM 9 3/4!!!
OUR FAV CHOC MILK DRINK HERE IN THE UK AND ON OUR LAST TRAIN RIDE
Us at the train station as we said goodbye to York! Last train ride😢😢😢
Yes more streets of beautiful York!
York City Walls. It's like Roman empire where the city is fenced up by bricks and patrolled by soldiers.
So you will naturally feel bad eating so much unhealthy food so here comes the fruits!
We had Fish and Chips, recommended by Gracia again. This time is fried cod with chips and it's really good!😋
Hello from Clifford's Tower!👋👋👋
Clifford's Tower - vantage point of York, and also has an interesting history behind it. It was destroyed a few times by fire/ warfare and this is what's left. The mould that it is sitting on...is manmade😂😂😂
The Shambles! This part of York looks like Diagon Alley😍
Pretty streets of York! Love the reddish-brown tone of the buildings here:)
River Ouse and the harrypotter looking bridge!
[Museum Gardens continued]
[Museum Garden continued]
Museum Garden and St Mary's Abbey! This place is great for a relaxing sunny day:)
York Minster and Minster Garden
BREW AND BROWNIEEE! My freshie Gracia recommended the pancakes and brownies here so we decided to give it a try! We got a 100% maple syrup with bacon and blueberries American pancake stack and a yoghurt and fruit compote American pancake with honey. Both were yums!!! At the end of the meal I realised they don't accept £50 notes (probability of counterfeits high)😰😰😰 so I had to run around banks, post office, shops to ask for small change. After many failed attempts I bought a stack of hairclips (which you will see in my later photos on my hair) on 50% off at Accessorize so they costed only £1.50😆 great buy! When I got back they gave deli and I a chocolate brownie on the house as a form of "apology" for not being able to accept the £50 note😆😆😆
Our accommodation in York!:) We met this cheery old man who asked if we were lost and I said "oh no we are not lost" and he was like "ohh great I am expecting some people over at my house" and we were like "wait....Mark?" And he was like "YEAH MARK!"😂😂😂😂😂 turns out he thought we were lost because we were late, and he came out BAREFOOTED looking for us😂😂😂 so sweet of him!
25 June 2015
An attempt to be healthy...not! Salad with M&S chips😂 M&S is really making it hard for us to stop eating chips omgggg
Scottish people are so nice!! We didn't have enough change to take bus so we asked the people on the bus if they have change for £10. They didn't but they all chipped in to give us money to take the bus😭😭😭 we didn't accept it of course cos we felt bad. We also got a free bus ticket just now which helped us to save some pounds. We met very nice and amazing people here at Scotland, super ready to help and always so friendly!!!
Dinner for two
EDINBURGH 🚂 YORK
Scottish Vanilla ice cream! Deli and I shared a twin cone so cute😂
The Elephant House! It was raining and I completely forgot to take a photo of the exterior SOBS😭😭😭 this is where JK Rowling was thought to be writing HARRY POTTER.
We went to see the Greyfriars Bobby statue, of this loyal dog in the late 1800s which was loyal to his owner till death.
THE BAKED POTATO SHOP. We got a small baked potato with macsween (vegetarian) haggis and avocado salad (avocado, tomato, onions) - the portion is huge me and deli had problems finishing though it's considered "small"!! Cheryl got herself macsween haggis with cheese and it looked good!!
[National Museum of Scotland continued] the millenium clock tower is amazing. The story behind the creation of the tower is mindblowing - drawing lessons learnt from the past and hopes for the future. The good (einstein and chaplin) and bad (hitler, stalin, and lenin) of humans. The problems of the century - war, slavery, prosecution, etc; the pieta (woman carrying a dead man at the top of the clock) that signifies death and the courage to carry on. And lastly the pendulum - it has a mirror reflection - you are also in the game.
National Museum of Scotland, the interior is so pretty! We joined a free tour together with Cheryl who met us☺️ Free admission and free tour = 😊😊😊
Streets of Edinburgh AGAIN 😍😍😍
[Calton Hill continued]
We went up to Calton Hill! Got a pretty nice view from here, and some ancient agora type of architectures
Streets of pretty Edinburgh
Chocolate chip biscuits for breakfast and we realised 1 biscuit = 118 calories WHAAAAAT?
24 June 2015
Very, very, very, unique chips flavour for dinner (coupled with green tea)

[william wallace monument continued]
Then we climbed up to the Wallace Monument! Poor William Wallace his death was so tragic😰😰😰 hanged, broken by horses, body quartered, internal organs removed and burned, all kinds of shit...people are sick😡
TO ALL GAMES OF THRONES FANS - THIS IS WINTERFELL!!!
Meet our new friends from the haggis tour!! Cheryl and Kavitha from Hong Kong, currently doing postgrad in Bristol and Cambridge respectively. Are LAW students as well😱😱😱 on a side note, this is the three sisters of Glencoe!
FRUITSSSSSSS!!! So important hahaha
Castle of Iverlochy
Misty mountaintop that was difficult to catch😅
David said these piles of stones were bad fairies or something like that. Or at least he believed in fairies😂
Stayed at Saucey Mary's while in Isle of Skye. Laundry was damn exp £12 for washing and drying and we didn't have a choice😑
Went out for an early morning walk to visit the ruins of a castle. Thankfully the tide was low enough for us to access and have a closer view of the castle!:)
23 June 2015
A photo of us having dinner at our hostel. A piece of whisky fudge, 1L banana milk, sweet pastry, and milk choc digestives😂
Another walking stop!
Us climbing up somewhere on the Scottish highlands but I am not sure where😂 the view is surreal!!!
WE FOUND "CHEAP" FRUITS!! In UK everything is so expensive...so we bought fruits to fill our stomachs together with two sweet pastries (i got a viennese finger which is caramel with shortbread for 44pence and deli got a flapjack for 70pence) for dinner. Also with a 1L banana milk😂😂😂
Portree, the capital of Isle of Skyee.
We were told this is the best bakery around this area of Portree. So we ordered two pastries to try, bacon and black pudding as well as chicken curry. The bacon and black pudding is SUPER DELICIOUSSSSS like salty with some sort of cake. But then we googled and realised that black pudding is pork offals with BLOOD like what😰😰😰😰😰 how can it taste so good. The chicken curry was nice, but it's different cos it has raisins, corns, and peas in it like sweet curry.
A marriage took place here according to David's story about this girl called Mary who lost one of her eye just before getting married. She used the lake which had healing powers and got her eye back😂😂😂
Our guide David and a random tripmate testing out the healing waters. David thinks he looked more beautiful😂😂😂
David our Scottish guide said that these were the best scones (he insisted it is pronounced as SCORNS). So we got a cheese scone from the visitor shop and it was deliciousssss
😱😱😱😱😱 THIS CASTLE IS SO PRETTY mainly because of its location😂😂😂😍😍😍
A quick photo stop on our way to the famous Eilean Donan Castleeee
Then we took a quick walk through the woods which led us to a waterfall with rapids, and said MOObye to our hilly billy cows😂😂😂
HAIRY COOS UP CLOSEEEE OMAGAWD SO CUTE
22 June 2015
Checked into our accomm, which is a 4bed dorm room. Sharing with two girls from China who did their postdoc in the UK. They are also budget travellers too😂
A walk around the town we are staying in, called Fort Augustus! Such a pretty little town:)
Us sharing Haggis for dinner - sheep lungs, heart, intestine, whatever offal you can find, it is probably inside. And surprisingly it tastes real good😂😂😂
We took a walk to find Hairy coos!! These are highland cows so cute with fringes😂😂😂 and forever eating not looking up😑
The ruins of a castle at Loch Ness
We have arrived at Loch Ness, where NESSIE the legendary loch ness monster lives. Myth or is there really something underneath those deep dark waters?
Fourth stop: Tomatin Scottish Whisky!!! Went on a How To Make Whisky tour and then had a taste of Scottish Whisky which is freaking strong but has a very sweet taste! I bought a Scottish Whisky honey to taste😊 hope it's good! I also found a whisky same age as me, created in 1992😊😊😊
Our third stop is a lunch and relax stop at the cute little town of Pitlochry!
So we shared a breaded haddock at The Plaice To Be which specialises in fish and chips! THUMBS UP👍👍👍
Our second stop is a walk in the woods at the Hermitage!
On the Haggis 3day Skye High tour! Our first stop is Dunkeld Cathedral☺️
21 June 2015
Fish and Chips from ClamShell!
Our walk back down to the city centre😊
WE HAVE REACHED THE PEAK ARTHUR'S SEAT!!! We almost got blown off the peak cos it was so steep and the wind was so strong!!!! You don't know how many million pictures I had to take to get a proper photo without my hair flying all over my face😅😅😅 And how hard it was to climb up cos the rocks were so steep. Fell on my butt while hiking cos the rocks were loose and was so embarassed by thankfully a guy fell behind me three seconds later so I feel better😂😂😂
Scenic walk up to the peak, very chilly, and on-and-off sunny times😅 Lots of pretty wildflowers too!
At Holyrood Park, on our way to Arthur's Seat, the peak of Edinburgh!
Street shots AGAIN
And I saw this statue of a poet doing a walking pose and I can't help but take a photo with him cos I like to do walking shots😂😂😂
Street shots😍😍😍 Edinburgh is just sooooo pretty and so much to see everywhere it's quite overwhelming!!!
And not forgetting this cute vintage bus
UK telephone booths are a must to enter and take photos with😂 typical tourist shot
Some street shots of Edinburgh! Super pretty, some gothic buildings and colourful ones😊
OINKKKKK roasted pig in Scotland. Found this on tripadvisor for pulled pork. We got a white bun with pork, onion and basil sauce, with chilli cheese😋😋😋😋😋
Mary's milk bar! Dubbed the best in Edinburgh! We shared hazelnut/coffee and salted caramel😋😋😋 the coffee one tasted like hazelnut latte. The ice cream was creamy and good👍👍👍
Scottish ice cream made from Scottish milk!! Yum yum. There's also a chocolate flake stick stuck inside. There are caramel, vanilla, and strawberry. We got caramel and it was deliciousss
Exiting Princes Street Gardens and heading towards the Edinburgh castle. We didn't want to pay so much to enter so we just admired from outside😂 We also passed by the Scottish National Museum and the start of Royal Mile.
A walk in the gardens is a must😊
Princes St Gardens is so peaceful and relaxing with so many pretty flowers and surrounded by gothic? architectures!
We started our first official day in Edinburgh with a visit to the beautiful Princes Street Gardens!
LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND AT MARKS AND SPENCER. MAPLE BACON CHIPS OMGGGGG I'VE MISSED YOU SINCE LEAVING CANADAAAA
This is our accomm, which we are gonna stay for three days before our highland trip, then 1 night after our highland trip!
20 June 2015
WE HAVE REACHED EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND!!!
Beautiful clouds, the rainbow colours are probably due to the UV rays or something! London to Edinburgh✈️
Revelation of Hummingbird while waiting for our flight to Scotland from London! We got:
1. Red velvet
2. Salted caramel
3. Black bottom
Red velvet was a bit too dense but flavour wise it was niceeee!
Salted caramel has by far the best texture, it was so moist and really caramel-ly!
Black bottom is for chocolate lovers ITS SO THICK deli and I were crying for water😂😂😂
Overall the cupcakes were nice but we definitely would not pay so much for it again😂 it's £8 for the 3 cupcakes omg.
Stansted Express from city centre back to the airport! We got SUPER GOOD chocolate milkshakes. It was damn epic cos we wanted to drink it at night as dinner...but we only realised we cannot carry liquids in and they were 330ml each😂😂😂 ULTIMATE FAIL so we downed them on the train!
HUMMINGBIRD BAKERYYYY! Everyone is raving about this so we are definitely gonna give it a try😂
Oddono's Gelati!! We got Strawberry sorbet and Pistachio. Best pistachio by far with pistachio bits in it! The strawberry was very good too!!
NHM Part 3: We didn't get to complete everything, it was too big to finish in 2hours😅
NHM Part 2
Second stop: NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM LONDON!
Our first stop in London: BURGER AND LOBSTER at Clarges St.! The MUST EAT FOOD in London! We both got steamed lobsters with garlic butter sauce. Comes with crispy fries and salad. I finished everything on the plate so...😂😂😂😂😂
