Two Ahjummad spotted..which one more chio?

While waiting we hunted for lunching place and found this local korean eatery and IT WAS ALL IN KOREAN WORDS?! And we also got free postcards for finding specific stations:)

5 January 2016

Delicious delicious delicious pork soup! I got mine with udon and cs got the rice and pork belly one. Soup's greatttt๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Seomyeon shopping street. If not for the cold winds this street would be nice for a night walk๐Ÿ˜ฉ
CS and his lok lok again...face palm
I managed to throw a coin into the bowl below on my first try from the Haedong bridge and apparently it's difficult๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š DAEBAK! damn tyco though!! And also made a wish cos I managed to get it in and hopefully my wish comes trueeeee
Beomeosa Temple - this was initially not in our plans but we were SO GLAD we decided to go last minute?! This place is a quaint beauty!! We managed to chiong in (its free but only opens till 5.30pm) so we only had 30mins to admire the temple. Wished we could have more time but this place is really farrrrrr!
Some photos of the day๐Ÿ˜
Dongrae Halmae Pajeon - Traditional Korean pancake made with mainly spring onion, seafood, meat, egg, and starch. The first taste was like our Singapore's O-JIAN๐Ÿ˜‚ so we were quite underwhelmed and it's bloody expensive 30,000won we could've gone back to Hongsi๐Ÿ˜ข Okay la but at least we tried a new food! The fried sweet sticky mochi with red bean was ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ though I loved it!!!
Hardong Yongdusa Temple - it's a gloomy afternoon๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Not as spectacular as I thought it would be seeing some of my friends' photos. But definitely worth a visit, it's free anyway!

4 January 2016

Dining like royals๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
Seokguram - 500m walk in along the cliffs to access the temple with colourful lanterns lining the side of the walkways. Tbh its too pricey to visit though...
Bulguksa temple. Quaint and pretty, we took a lot of nice shots in here hehehhe๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š i think we spend more time taking chio photos than admiring the architecture๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š

Some shots of today's journey in CS' camera๐Ÿ˜Š
SULBINGGGGG๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ got caramel coffee flavour this time. Toppings include caramel coffee ice cream, coffee sauce, almond and cashew nuts, oatmeal cereal, and of course the snowflake๐Ÿ‘
See queue = good = join queue๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ korean vege pancake -> a twist to takoballs. Super yummy but im pretty sure its worth like 10000 calories๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™Š
Jagalchi fish market. We didnt try the fresh fish though cos it looked super cramped and we were sure we couldnt afford the prices here. Owell, can always come back when we strike it rich! But the jagalchi ajummas were interesting to watch๐Ÿ˜Š
Cos a friend intro-ed and we hunted for it. Its called Shikae, a sweet korean drink made from rice. Not bad, its a different kinda barley kinda thing๐Ÿ˜„
So after a good meal, we headed to Yongdusan park! And spent a fair bit of time there waiting for the sunset. We also spotted gamcheon (colourful) cultural village which we intend to visit a couple of days later๐Ÿ˜
Woojung Bibimbap๐Ÿ‘ we ordered a pork belly and beef bulgogi to share. Beef was typical and nice๐Ÿ˜‚ pork belly has a unique twist to it which is also not bad! Hot stone bibim is a good idea for a chilly dayyyy
Nampo-dong shopping district! Hustling and bustling many people. And so many things to buy but we didnt give in to temptations๐Ÿ˜
First thing we did in Busan - JOIN THE QUEUE๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ we saw so many people queueing and queueing for this Samgin Eunok so we googled it and it is fish cake croquette with different fillings - cheese, curry, potato, sweet potato, pepper, and shrimp! So being singaporeans see queue = good food so we joined the queue๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ initially we wanted cheese, sweet potato and curry but they took turns to be sold out (temporarily) until we reached and there was no curry left for us๐Ÿ˜ญ so we got potato to replace curry. Though its a tad oily, cs and i agreed its good. We are definitely gonna queue again when we are heading back to seoul๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
On our way to Busan!!

2 January 2016

This was on discount so i insisted cs buy to share๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ strawberry and yoghurt rose gelato so pretty right!!

We are waiting for the cui city tour bus...which is super squeezy. Just hope we can get seats from Petit France to Garden of the Morning Calm cos its 40+mins๐Ÿ˜ฉ
Petit Franceee!! This place is also pretty why are all the pretty places in Gapyeong?!?! And why are there still so many tourists?!?!
"A smallwillow basket of korea" at Yeonga, Nami Island - steamed kimchi with yolky egg๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ its not too spicy and very yummy!
ANNYEONG!! We are at Nami Island. All pretty photos are in CS' camera๐Ÿ˜‚ Took a lot of instagram-worthy photos. Nami is reallyyyyyy pretty and we couldve spent a full day there but due to tight itinerary we only had around 3hrs? So sad to leave this beautiful place๐Ÿ˜ญ oh and we didnt see snow so i will rate this place 9.75/10 cos 0.25 for snow and maple leaves๐Ÿ™Š
Some shots taken by sim jang-soon๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Š

1 January 2016

Tosokchon samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) for dinner. DELICIOUS. We each had a whole chicken to ourselves๐Ÿ˜‚ a bit to the expensive side but we had to try the best samgyetang in seoul!!!
Gyeongbukgung - we paid $4 each to enter the palace. At first we regretted paying so much to enter cos we couldnt go into the main palace rooms. But we just went around to explore and the palace ground is HUGEEEEEE!!!!! There were two structures surrounded by a frozen mode (highlights) + pretty pre-winter gardens + a lot of palace rooms to go in and out of. So in the end the $4 was well spent๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
And then our room was ready for us to check in! So we went back for a quick refresher before coming out to battle the cold againโ˜๏ธ
We were still hungry after breakfast on the flight so we went to Myeongdong to look for this famous gyojaaa. Both gyoja and chopped noodles were๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
On the planeee to Incheon International Airport. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!
