Yesterday we slept to around 10:30, but we got to do a lot of stuff! We went to the famous archeological museum. Unfortunately the "big thing" - the exquisite Alexander Sarcophagus - was closed off. 😁 We walked through Grand Bazaar, where they try to cheat you all day long. In one second they could go 85 lira down... Yeah right.. We saw The Blue Mosque inside and all the Muslims goes out for picnic, when the sun is down. Such a nice atmosphere ☺️ See you soon β˜€οΈ

Today we thought was going to be lazy, but we ended up walking around 6 hours through different districts. We saw the worlds oldest tower - Galata Kule - and walked on the Main Street - Istiklal Caddesi ☺️ It was nice walking around, but we realised, that we live the absolutely most charming place of all in Istanbul. Tonight is also the beginning of Ramadan, which is a big deal! So we are very lucky to get this insight of the Islamic culture in Turkey πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·πŸŽ‰ Bye πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Today we saw the Topkapipalace, which was beautiful! Unfortunately you weren't allowed to take pictures, but I uploaded one roof and the fifth biggest diamond in the world from a book - we saw live πŸ˜β˜€οΈβ€οΈ Then we were in one of the famous mosques and walked along an aqueduct 😊 We got stuffed melon for dinner. Very special πŸ‰πŸ— Love πŸ’

So my boyfriend and I went to Istanbul, and I love it already. Except the food - kebab is not for me.. πŸ˜… But we saw Hagia Sofia, which was pretty spectacular because it has been used both as a church and mosque. Generally the architecture here is absolutely breathtaking. And while he is a hottie at the pool, I have my usual elephant moment in the pool πŸ˜πŸ™ˆβ˜€οΈ
