Hanami Season in Japan 2015

4 April 2015

Sakuras were in full bloom when I was there on 4 Apr 2015. I went crazy and was snapping non-stop photos and videos of them. Absolutely beautiful! The Philosophers' Walk was the best. So scenic and the stream added lots of reflection and interest to the photos. Can't believe how beautiful the pictures turned out when I reviewed them at home. MUST SEE!

Walked around the old streets of Kyoto, had a famous ramen before heading back to our place in Osaka. Airbnb this comfortable studio apartment.
Went to the famous Arabica cafe for a lovely latter with free hand pour latte art.
Checked out the next morning and took train to Kyoto to meet up with 2 other friends to travel together. Glad we stayed there. Added something unique to Japan instead of a regular westernized hotel. Visited the famous Kiyomizu temple.
With the Sakura in full bloom, pink and white peppered the trees and they added so much elegance and beauty to the place. Every shot in the temple was postcard worthy. Changed into the yukata (cotton trad outfit) after showing.

Went to another park before taking the Shinkansen to the temple stay. Decided to try their traditional beds and in a traditional temple and eat their traditional vegetarian meal and experience the old way of living.

28 March 2015 landed in Tokyo. Went to the park and also visited the famous owl cafes! So excited to touch them that I almost ran all the way to the owl cafe.
