Aleksandra's & Jakob's Vietnam adventure

14 June 2016

Next stop is very often skipped Dalat - however the weather there is definitely better bearable when there is pretty much 40* on the coast with humidity of at least 70% 😡

Second day in chilled out Mui Ne 🌴🌺🍜🍻

8 June 2016

After few hours in a bus we got to our next destination - Mui Ne :)
Mui Ne is not only kite surfing paradise but is also well known for its bin sand dunes (white and red). 2$ well worth the short trip in an old American Jeep :)

Some more impressions from our short trip to Mekong Delta :)

5 June 2016

Mekong Delta is definitely a must see. However, to really see local markets on the river (in the way it was for years, and not only made purely for tourists) it requires more off the beaten track your or DIY style. If we had more time, the combination of both options would be our choice :)
We spent the next 2 days in the Mekong Delta :) We bought the tour through our hostel in Saigon however, next time I would take a look on tripadvisor for tour operator recommendations ;)

The first days in Saigon have been filled with lots of walking, sightseeing and of course loooots of delicious Vietnamese food!
Our first day in Ho Chi Minh City (= Saigon) was already full of nice experiences. In the late evening We met my university friend - Marysia in the super cool rooftop bar on one of many skylines with an amazing view on the main roundabout... Good start into Vietnam I would say! 😁
This is a travel journal made after the actual trip. We travelled in Vietnam for 32 days in May/June 2015.
