Additi is in Sydney, Australia

25 October 2014

Went to the Night Noodle Market today. Delicious food, great music and so much of activity in one place. Crowded, but good fun. Worth the time. :)

21 October 2014

Sydney celebrates Diwali. 😊They lit up opera house last night in orange and green colours :) First Diwali away from home feels so strange! 🙈

18 October 2014

Headed to glebe for breakfast. No regrets. :)

4 October 2014

Went hiking to Manly. 10:30am to 5pm. Spotted a snake and a lizard. The view from Fairfax lookout was magnificent and totally worth it. Stopped by at the beach for a splash on our way back. Exhausted beyond limit but the day was very well spent. :)

2 October 2014

Exploring the beautiful Cremorne Bay. Spontaneous plans like these lift my mood at any given time! Just kept following the direction my eyes and mind pointed at and learnt the best lesson I have been taught in a while. :)

1 October 2014

This bridge. The way the streets are placed around it, with cars speeding through from all corners. But on this bridge everything seems to slow down. It feels like that moment you can almost hold on to, until you're out of it and the moment's gone. You need to be there to feel it. #northsydney <3 <3

27 September 2014

Started the day by heading for a walking tour guided by children as part of the Art & About Festival. Followed by absorbing the energy at Surry hills during the Surry Hills Festival (blown away by a jazz performance by The Fever Pitch) and relished a berry smoothie at the busy Pieno cafe. Rounded off the day watching fireworks at the Darling Harbour. Saturday very well spent. :)

23 September 2014

Made Sooji (semolina) ka halwa for a few IH people. Had some Sooji and sugar left with me and decided to put it to use. Tried adding a twist to this second attempt- milk! Yes, added some milk infused with cardamom and sugar. Turned out to be good enough to have gotten over that night itself! ^.^

19 September 2014

Art and about festival with Abhijeet. Was heading to this alone and bumped into my fellow Australian-Indian (and racist :P) friend and got him to take a spontaneous decision and join me. Went down to an art gallery and got ourselves clicked together with 21 other strangers who happened to be at the same place as us and at the same time, an interesting concept. Then headed to Hyde park to get lost in the installations by neon nomads. And finally, headed to nando's (FINALLY!) for a super spicy dinner, before retiring to IH. Good day. :)

11 September 2014

Went for a run down to backwattle bay during sunset. And damn, was it beautiful or what! That moment when the sun kisses the sea and says its last goodbyes for the day is priceless. :')

3 September 2014

Vietnamese dinner in newtown with the girls :) This divine cuisine which brings together the freshness of vegetables and tanginess of fruits in the most appetizing way possible had all of us digging holes in our wallets, and still wanting more!

30 August 2014

Stargazing at IH lodge house in Belanglo rain forest. It took us about 30 minutes to be able to capture this through the telescope, given the cloudy skies and the uncooperative telescope. But heck, we got it! B)

29 August 2014

Rainbow at uni! :) on my way back from an intense game of badminton, this helped energize me further. Oh, the wonders of nature.

24 August 2014

Spotted on our way to the color run. At first we all overlooked this genius piece of art thinking it's a normal house with window. But on our way back, having looked at it more closely, I figured the windows aren't actually there. My mind was blown away.

17 August 2014

Sooji ka halwa prashad at ISKON temple in Sydney on janmashthmi. And that's all it takes for me to miss home!

16 August 2014

Went for a run with Ruchira di to cremorne bay. And I couldn't help but fall in love with the views here while panting my way across the entire 5km route!

14 August 2014

Mulled wine at The Rose. Celebrating the beginning of the weekend with this delicious and warm red wine infused with cinnamon, cloves, star anis and orange juice. Must have on a chilly night!

9 August 2014

Taronga zoo with IH people. Koalas, kangaroos, platypus and many more Oz species spotted here. Definitely worth seeing once.

3 August 2014

Went for the Coogee to Bondi coastal walk with Daniella and Jenny. Took us longer than it should've since we stopped numerous times to pull out our cameras and shoot almost every strange cliff we spotted.

2 August 2014

Sydney fish market with Jenny and Daniella! Relished some sashimi, oysters and seaweed salad by the bay.

22 July 2014

Heading to manly beach, on the ferry.
