Zach's adventure in Vientiane

Today we left Vientiane to go to Krabi, Thailand. We spent most of our time packing up and the rest we were eating or just relaxing. The airport was only a five minute long drive so it was really close and right inside was a Dairy Queen so we stopped for ice cream­čŹŽ. Then we went to the gate after check in and security. Then we got on the plane to Krabi.
DAY TWO Today we went to some temples that were really cool. We went to a mountain side temple were there was a really cool cave that had a Buddha. Then we went to a watt that I forgot the name of. We also went to the Victory Monument that was super cool! We got some really good pictures. We also went to the royal palace after that because it was right down the street! Just briefly though. Then we went back to the hotel and relaxed for a while. After that we went to dinner at a place called Lao Kitchen where I tried and didn't like the noodles. Then I tried the short ribs and LOVED them! Believe it or not it was the first time I ever had short ribs! I wasn't just trying them at the restaurant I was trying them for the first time! We ordered more because me and Owen ate all of them. We had to wait for so long and then a waiter came and said they didn't have any left! So we got the check and went back to the hotel and went to bed.

DAY ONE Today we arrived in Vientiane, Laos. When we got off the plane there were two baggage claims. We thought it was the second claim so we waited there for a pretty long time but then we figured it out that it was the first one then we got bags pretty fast after that. Then we went to our hotel which was only about five minutes away from the airport. The hotel was called the Ansara. We didn't do much after that. Dinner was the best I had had in a long time. It was called Pimenton. I finally had guacamole once again! Before that I hadn't had it since Bangkok! I got it on a tostada with bread instead of a tortilla! It had guacamole at the bottom and above that was all kinds of veggies like tomatoes, shredded carrots, pieces of belled pepper and some lettuce. It was DELICIOUS­čśő!
