Wulan's journi to Indonesia

10 September 2017

The Raja Ampat Islands are an Indonesian archipelago off the northwest tip of Bird’s Head Peninsula in West Papua. Comprising hundreds of jungle-covered islands, Raja Ampat is known for its beaches and coral reefs rich with marine life. Ancient rock paintings and caves are on Misool Island, while the crimson bird of paradise lives on Waigeo Island. Batanta and Salawati are the archipelago’s other main islands. This one is Piaynemo in Waigeo. The view from the top is stunning. Raja Ampat Islands is the best place in Indonesia that I've ever been. I'll definitely come back here.

Nusa Penida island, located in the south of Bali Island, Klungkung Regency. My fav spots, always! And also one of the best places to see manta rays in Indonesia especially Bali. Luckily I have been here many times!

Well, Bali is my second home. Used to live here for a long time, but even now I am back to my hometown, I still go back and forth to Bali like everymonth. LoL All photos that I put today taken recently this year. I am kinda lazy to take all back my photos from 20 years ago since the first time I visit Bali.

Labengki Island is one of the new tourist destinations in Indonesia. Located in North Konawe, Southeast Celebes, people known Labengki as Raja Ampat in Sulawesi. I went there in December 2015 when Labengki wasn't really famous like now. I've heard now there is a resort there (wow just in 2 years) I didn't stay in any place like that. I stayed in old wooden house with no electricity (use the generator) and just 2 buckets of water for bath. Lol When I was there, I've heard from the guide that my husband was the first "white guy" that visited Labengki :D Anyway, if you're picky, don't ever come to Labengki cause it's totally different than Bali. And yea, I choose Labengki for our honeymoon destination hahaha. Labengki Island is huge. There is big Labengki (where local people lives) and small Labengki, and there is lots of small islands around. Also, many hidden paradise like secret lagoon, beach with white sand and crystal water, coconuts everywhere, and amazing coral.
