Quiet morning to start, then I went & had a haircut, while David & Marko had coffee.
We then had pekr for lunch, this is meat & vegetables prepared with hot coals.
Then we walked around old town, which is actually original settlement by the romans
Similar to old Pompeii & Took photos. From here we then went to the new shopping centre &
Wandered around, I bought things & David bought some boat shoes. Home for a rest & freshen up.
We were then picked up by Ante & drove to Trojir another small town, very quaint.
We all had dinner here, I had fish fillets. We walked around & Ante told us some of the history.
Interesting night, home & bed.

We said our goodbyes to Kaz & Brockie, then went to wait for Marko, finally after almost 2 hours,
We were in the car & on our way to Split. What a beautiful drive around the coast,
First we stopped at Ston, which is the oldest stone wall in Europe, same as Great Wall of China.
We then continued driving to makarska, a beautiful little town on the beach, we stopped here for lunch, I had a tuna salad,
Then we had a walk around the town. We then went to Marko's home at Silon, here we met Jelko & we actually stayed in his house,
So great of him. A quick freshen up, & then we drove to Split, we had dinner at Fife, here I tried the cabbage rolls,
Walked around, then home to bed.

A very early start today, we met our driver, Chris at 7.30 for our trip to Montenegro.
On the way it started to shower. had a couple of photo stops, before arriving in Kotor.
As it started to rain heavier, we had a wander around the town, a quick coffee,
Then onto Budva, first we had lunch, I had fish soup followed by spaghetti marinara,
Whilst the others all had chevups. Rain eased, so we had a walk around the old town,
Then onto Porto Montenegro, lovely marina, with lots of yachts, here we tried Russian ice cream.
From here we went on a ferry back to Dubrovnik. Tonight is our last night with Kaz & Brockie,
So we all went out for dinner, I'm not feeling the best. I had fish fillets & veggies.
Came home & did our packing in preparation for our departure in the morning.
Will not miss all the stairs!!

Today, firstly we went up on the cable car, & saw some fantastic views whilst enjoying a coffee.
From here we took a taxi to Cilipli, where we watched traditional Croatian folk dancing,
Bought a original handmade bag, taxi back into town& walked around & found a lookout near the fort.
Took some pictures & then went to sesame restaurant for lunch, I had lamb skewers & vegetables
Lovely spot & great food. Did a little shopping, I bought a original silver ball.
We then went to Buza for a drink overlooking the water. More walking & little shopping,
Then back for a change, before going out for dinner. I had what was supposed to be prawns,
But more like mini scampi, not much meat at all, but lovely flavour.
Home for a nightcap, then bed, but unfortunately I had the worst night ever,
I have a cough & a Bit of a cold.

While waiting to get picked up, Kaz & I went for a walk, back to the boat to say our goodbyes.
After walking uphill & downstairs,we arrived at our apartment, very nice, but lots of stairs, 3 storeys!
After settling in, we went for a walk, & shared 3 pizzas for lunch.
We then walked & climbed the South Wall. Stopped at the top for a beer, then continued on.
More walking, time for another drink before going home for a rest.

Today we sailed to Dubrovnik, it was a beautiful day for sailing, saw the old town from the boat.
Lunch on board, only ate small salmon & some soup, as I was feeling the best.
After a delayed start, we took the bus & did our tour of the old town, first pharmacy, museum.
When this was over, we did our own thing, & just wondered around, all the various streets.
We then met all our group for a farewell dinner at Kopun. We started with octopus salad,
Then fish & veggies, & like panna cotta. Back to the boat, couple of drinks & music.
Sad it's our last night, we met some lovely people.

Today, we arrived in Korcula, believed to be the birth place of Marco Polo.
Very pretty town, had a walk around, then met up with our tour guide, for a tour around the
cobbled streets & another Cathedral. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough,
as it was back on the boat for lunch, rare beef salad,
Continued sailing to Mljet, this is a large national park. We walked & climbed many stairs,
Then got on a boat at the big lake, & went to a small island , very quick look at a small old church,
Before walking & climbing back to the port. Here we stopped for a drink & watched the sunset,
Before returning on the boat to prepare for Captain's Dinner.
Kaz & I wore our kaftans & the boys wore matching pink shirts from Kaz
We had vegetable soup, beef risotto & shrimp risotto to share,
Then a large platter of beef, pork, chicken & another with fish, calamari & crumbed fish &
Chocolate cake. Then they surprised us with a Anniversary cake.
We had entertainment, drinking & dancing. Great night!

We met our guide at 9 for a tour of Zadar, it was raining, so he made it quick.
Saw the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St Anastasia.
Did a little shopping, had a coffee, then back on the ship for lunch.
Today we had chicken soup, spaghetti in red sauce, beef stroganoff & rice & some
Gelato to finish off. Continued sailing until we reached Krka, where we were taken by bus to
Krka National Park, where we walked & explored & saw magnificent waterfalls.
The bus then took us back to Sibenik, where we went for a walk around the town &
had a quick look at the cathedral, then stopped for dinner, I had veal with mushrooms,
which also came with gnocchi, pretty good. We then walked back to the ship,
had a nightcap & listened to some music.
18 September 2017
After spending the night in the port of Pula, we started sailing, however it was quite rough.
I took a pill & stayed in my room until lunch time, we arrived at Mali Losinj, island of vitality
We walked, we shopped & stopped for a beer & tried some gnocchi between the four of us,
They were quite good. We then had lunch on board, some chicken salad,
Vegetable risotto, & beef with gnocchi, ha!! & chocolate cake.
We then continued onto Olib, a very small island, toured another small church & had a walk around.
David had a swim off the end of the ship. We then got ready for dinner at 8.00.
We had beef carpaccio, & I ate Brockie's also, followed by steak, potatoes & vegetables.
It was John's birthday, one of the passengers, so we had chocolate with orange cream.
We continued sailing on to Zadar. We reached Zadar at 10 pm
Went for a walk & heard the wave organs & watched the solar coloured lights.
Had a drink at a local place, then back onto the ship for a nightcap & listened to some music.
17 September 2017
Today, as the weather was not the best, & the seas were rough, we got the bus to Rovinj,
Wandered through the cobbled streets, & walked up to the church of St. Euphamia.
From here we got the ferry to the Brijuni Natinal Park, where we were met by our guide,
We boarded a small train & drove around the very large park.
Here we met our ship, had lunch on board, mixed cold seafood plate,
Spaghetti with prawns, fish then dessert. We arrived in Pula,
met our guide & went to the Amphitheatre, which is a smaller version of the colosseum,
Toured around it & then walked around the streets.
We then had free time & stopped at the yacht club for a drink,
More walking, so around 8.30 we felt hungry & managed to find a place opened,
Which made us some delicious cheeseburgers, washed down with some wine,
all rugged up as it was very windy.

Had breakfast at the hotel, then I went for a quick walk, before joining everyone to checkout.
They took our luggage to the ship, & we had a quick tour around by Jelena our guide.
We then went & did some more walking & exploring of Porec.
Stopped for some sardines & beer, then walked some more, before going on the ship & settling in.
Once organised, we stopped at at a little restaurant & had a few drinks overlooking the water.
Back to the ship at 5.00 for induction & introductions to everyone, once this was over,
it was time for shower & change
then it was the welcome dinner aboard the Adriatic Queen.
We had rare beef slices,
Soup, then chicken & vegetables & a mousse for desert.
We left Venice today & drove 3 1/2 hours to Porec.
Here we went for a walk, then stopped for lunch at a little local restaurant
overlooking the water, we had chevups, salad & a beer.
Continued walking, until it started to rain, so we went back to the hotel & has a few drinks
until it stopped, we then did some more walking, & Kaz & I discovered a square where there
was some music playing.
David & Brockie joined us for a few more drinks & a cheese & procutto plate.
As we made our way back to the hotel, it started raining, & we all got wet.
