St. Marks Square and Doges Palace.
Had gelato twice — once for breakfast and then for dessert.
Flirty Italian waiters trying to entice you in their restaurant.
€80 for grand canal, 100€ for side canals per gondola. They don’t serenade you. Been wanting to go since I saw the gondolas at the Las Vegas Venetian. The painted sky there is spot on, btw.
Lunch! Funghi e margherita pizza. Pizza is so cheap here. This only cost 10€, and was more than satisfying.

We spent our first night in Venice (1) finding our Airbnb and, (2) eating dinner at a fancy restaurant along one of the Venice canals! Alvina ordered lasagna, which I endulged in ricotta stuffed ravioli and garlic butter squash.
Unfortunately, the weather was far from favorable, so we didn’t get the opportunity to explore much of Venezia the first day. We got soaked from the rain!
