Drive up Oak Creek Canyon looking for West Fork hike. We originally planned to do the hike at sunrise; however, it was too cold in the morning. We arrived at 11:00 am to a full parking lot. We parked up the hill a ways to what would be a final challenge. The hike was 3.6 miles in and 3.6 miles out. Each way had 15 creek crossings. The end of the hike resulted in a beautiful tube-like cutout of rock. After the hike we drove up towards Flagstaff for the Indian market crafts; however, our 4-hour hike proved to be too late as it was closed.

Nice afternoon strolling Main Street, filled with shops and galleries. Went to Nellie Bin which is the largest kaleidoscope store in the world; went to the oldest family-owned saloon in Arizona: Paul & Jerry’s saloon; and attended a glass blowing demonstration. Had lunch in Cottonwood at Bocce and then capped the drive with wine at Paige Springs Winery.
Amazing Catholic Church. Simple and beautiful. Frank Lloyd Wright inspired.

First restaurant in Sedona. We attempted to sit outside for an al fresco dining experience, but it was too cold and windy despite outside heaters. It worked out better to eat inside as the seating was comfortable and they had a live person playing soft music. Recommend.
