Sophie and Tim's Europe trip

29 October 2017

Finally we finished in the Moroccan markets where were able to get some free time to browse around. If you have ever had those fantasy adventures play out in your head with different scents, wonderful colours, food lining the walkway, snake chamers, monkeys on shoulders etc etc you get my drift....then you will love Marakech! Just an amazing place to be, wish we could have stayed longer.
Next was a walk to a tomb where we were shown the king, princes and womens rooms. Again the decorative architecture was fantastic to see.
Lunch is served After our visit to the Princes house we weaved our way through the streets to a hidden restaurant down a remote alleyway. This turned out to be an amazing hidden gem that i have found to top the list of food we have had this journey so far. Im so incredibly sold on Moroccan food now😍
More photos from the princes house
The princes house Worth a look, beautiful colours and hand etched doorways which opened into magnificent rooms with ceilings 4 to 5m high or more!
Morocco! Casablanca first impressions, dirty as hell, only see males on the streets, flea markets and smog. Very arabic looking architecture and agricultural the more we travel away from it on our way to marakech.

Aix de provence Nice streets w welcoming french people. Very relaxed w historic buildings and a  cathedral that has amazing paintings. French waiters know what they want! Very touristy, looking forward to checking out the city of Marseilles Coffee is terrible! Madellines are amazing! Baguettes are amazing!

Palma Cathedral - amazing architecture and incredible in size. While set along side the harbour and coastline there is also some unique and endearing street life nearby. Shopping and fashion seems to be a highlight in this part of the world but the food so far has lived up to its reputation.
