Had a trip to Hirikatiya beach which is a little slice of paradise! Holly introduced me to her friend Sophie who is bloody amazing, so we decided to go off for a few days and chill on the beach. Beautiful place!

Visited a place in Matara called the Doctors house, which was originally a Ayurvedic hospital and 2 Aussie guys took it on and turned it into a bar, pizza place and hostel. Brilliant place, very picturesque and lovely to chill. They had amazing cocktails and the best pizzas! Would definitely recommend going!
This is the lovely house I’m living in with Holly and David. Amazing huge garden which has all sorts of wildlife like monkeys, birds mongooses!!! And so many more!!

My first day waking up in paradise... instead of waking up to screeching Vietnamese screaming, beeping and drilling, I woke up to the sounds of the jungle... monkeys, birds all sorts of wildlife! We ventured down to Ahangama town to see what my new Home was like. Walked through paddies and a temple (our next door neighbours). We then sat on our local beach which was empty except a few fishermen on the rocks and some ladies trying to sell us things. Back on the rotti hype!! Safe to say I feel right back to sky high happiness!

After a very long day travelling I finally arrived at Star anise boutique capsules hostel Colombo at about 2.30am. I have to say that it is THE NICEST hostel I have ever stayed in. Even though I was in a 20 bed mixed dorm it was so private in the capsules. Its’s £7 per night and it’s right near the bus and train station. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful (but then again all Sri Lankan people are the nicest). I HIGHLY recommend staying here if in Colombo. I started my morning with a lovely healthy breakfast. Here’s to a brilliant start to my next adventure!

Currently sat on my bag trolly in the middle of Bangkok airport waiting to check in to my flight to Sri Lanka! My tummy’s full of sushi :) and I’ve managed to actually post 5kg back to the UK thank god! When I was checking into my flight to Bangkok I was 11kg over (41kg) so had to go through and get rid of a load of things annoyingly. But hey ho I have too much stuff anyway haha. I love people watching in airports! All the different nationalities, some happy people, some stressed people and others just passed out on seats. It’s a nice feeling to be somewhere where I’m not constantly being talked to and stared at as if I’m an alien. It’s weird but it feels really good being completely insignificant among all these people.
