James & Suze's Isle of Skye Adventures

28 March 2017

Coral beach on one of the most northern points of the Isle, passing through the town of Dunvegan, is amazing, follow the path along the coastline of grey shingle and rocks and around a tiny headland is a huge stretch of pearly white sand and Mediterranean blue waters, almost as if someone has plonked a Greek beach in the middle of Skye. Worth the walk despite very tired legs
Isle of Skye's famous Fairy Pools Fairy pools are easy to find/access and was quite busy, even saw a couple have their wedding photography taken, dress and all!! Pools them selves are beautiful, incredibly clear, with amazing colours and if it had been a warmer day definitely would have had a swim!!
Munroe climbing up Bla Bheinn, 5 & half hours up and down, 20 degrees in the sunshine, not a cloud in sight, snow drifts at the top and not one other person spotted, just the two of us. Views from the top are amazing, photos don't do it justice

The classic early start to catch the flight, 6am take off from Bristol - 8:15am land in Inverness, amazing views above the clouds of the mountain ranges in the Highland before coming into land. Picked up the car and on the A82 driving along Loch Ness and stopping every 5 mins to stare at the landscape, just stunning
