The kids plowed through an assload of sushi. I have never seen little people consume so much raw fish. That's ok though, daddy has a new credit card.
S'mores on the beach have never been so pricey. Only at the Del do you have to worry about your credit limit before smashing a marshmallow between graham crackers. The next day was the mandatory masochistic surrey ride. How can a "vehicle" which seems so silly produce so much hardship on the driver? We had to push our flinstones' vehicle up the "hill."

All in all, I love the Del. It's like an American Institution. It's been standing for 120 years, longer than any American alive. And it retains its beauty and charm through it all. Probably California's only true beach resort.
Catching crabs. The kids spent hours catching crabs today in the tide pools.

We made it. Rolled in about 930pm. After 10 getting to the room. Long day. Tom and I both worked last night.
Here we go! Change of plans though. Too hot for Disney. Coronado here we come.
