The last day was finally spent relaxing on the beach, no more buses or boats. The weather turned a bit more bearable when the first clouds appeared after several days of intense heat.

Last dinner at Luzzu. Great views from the restaurant and it's just across the road from the hotel. Food was good and portions were huge. After dinner we went for wander by the beach to burn off some calories 😊
Waiting for my Japanese backrub 😊

We wanted to spend a whole day in Valletta but ended up leaving at 5pm since it was way too hot outside for sightseeing. It's the most beautiful and best preserved part of Malta, I wish we had spent more time there. The bus from Qawra was an hour and from the bus station you can walk anywhere since the whole city is less than a mile. We walked around for a while, had some amazing ice cream and went up to the Barrakkas.

The last stop on our day trip was a quick wander around the Blue Lagoon on Comino islamd. It's so beautiful with its turquoise waters, it's a shame it was so packed with people and the heat was unbearable too. It's without a doubt the nicest beach/bay in Malta though.
Taking the boat from Valletta to Gozo. I hate boats so much, I can't enjoy any part of it, however, it is so worth it when you arrive to these amazing little islands. The ferry ride was two hours.

Hotel balcony fun time 😍😁😎💁
Exploring the area around our hotel in the gorgeous sunset.
We checked in to the Seashell Resort. It's a great ecohotel, quite modern and stylish with a beachfront pool. We got a sea view room. The only complaint I have is that there was no drinking water in the room despite a sign in the bathroom saying tap water is not potable.
First meal at the "From our galley". Food was okay but not a place to seek on purpose haha. It's good a quick lazy bite.
It's waaaaay too hot for me 😪
Entertaining ourselves on the plane. I was so ill 😭
