Taipei - Shillin night market / extremely busy - National Science Museum / earthquake simulator was rubbish - Sushi King - Chinese lady asked to turn off light and Georgie said 'nice, have fun' / had to suffocate myself in the duvet to stop myself from laughing - Elephant Hill / man carried down on stretcher by firemen - craft market and students architecture design showcase - National Palace Museum / interactive art section, calligraphy and quiz by Georgie - Ferris wheel / could see Taipei 101 - massive piece of fried chicken from street food - Shadin Night Market / massive cheesecake brownie and cream crepe - Museum of contemporary art / weird exhibitions and drawing room/ Georgie dancing in her bat costume - Museum for miniatures - hot springs 40-45 degrees -played rummy / all time low score of 7 with beers

Train and then bus to Juifen - went to dark alley (street food and souvenirs) - went to artist alley - tried tea tasting - beautiful view from hostel glasshouse

Flew into Taipei / bus to main station then train to Hualien - best pasta place - Taroko Gorge / beautiful blue water, rained a lot - George said she could block any punch to the chest - sweet lady volunteer said China hates Taiwan, gave us a charm and leaflet and held an umbrella up for everyone - vegetarian buffet / with weird jelly coconut desserts - random Italian/ German from accenture came round for drinks and board games - snap and action version of zimmi zimmi - lazy day in comfy beds - dumplings at Le Le Plumps - ice cream fight with Georgie - danced around the room to Thursday throwback songs
