When the sun starts to set the sky is beautiful and the Christmas lights in Madrid are spectacular.
Museo Prado!
Plaza Mayor + Mercado de San Miguel
Chocolateria San Gines Hot chocolate and churros! The line for this place was insane, but it was worth the wait!
Plaza del Sol Lunch at 100 Montaditos and a Mickey Mouse sighting.
Getting a late start today, but give us a break.... yesterday marked 5 cities in 5 days so I think we were due for a day of sleeping in. But off we go!
Simone has the best memories from the clubs and bars here. I have heard many stories and I was so excited to get to see the places where she has such fond memories. The clubs don’t even open until 12:30am here so we headed out after 1:00am!

Delish!

La Boqueria: a first for both of us! We’ll have to stop in and eat something next time we are in town.
Lunch at Bombay Spicy. Paneer tiki masala + butter chicken Simone: As good as I remembered it! Kristen: In all her stories about Spain, Simone is always talking about how good this place is, so we had to go! It definitely lived up to my expectations.
La Sagrada Familia was amazing. We took the elevator up the Nativity tower and took the stairs down. I was terrified, but we made it!
Early morning flight from Milan to Barcelona.
We didn’t get to go to Halloween Horror Nights this but at least we got to walk the The Walking Dead: Milan Edition 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️ on our way to the bus at 6:00am this morning. 😂

Dinner at Spirito Divino (divine spirit/ spirit of wine) Appetizers: artichoke pie and buffala mozzarella with tomato sauce Main course: (so delish we ate it before we realized that we didn’t take a picture) Desert: chocolate almond cake and creme brûlée The space that this restaurant occupies is so old that each of step down to the wine cellar represents 75 years into the past. It’s been around since Before Christ.
Tried to ask the lady at the Vatican shop how much for some post cards, I accidentally asked her “how much do you cost?”
More stops on the walking tour: Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, the Pantheon, and the Altare della Patria.
