30 December 2018

And a beautiful dream like trip leaves us asking for more! Big thanks to Vadina and Annayya for sponsorship this lovely trip!

29 December 2018

After a good night's dinner and sleep, on the last day we start our journey to Anse Intendance Beach supposedly the best beach in Mahe and truly the views do not the cheat. The beach where we ventured into swimming in the sea.
The next afternoon we hired a car and drove down to the capital city of Victoria and the Beau Vallon Beach which is a road up the hill revealing some astounding views and gives a whole view of all the islands in Seychelles(including Praslin and La Digue). Upon descent, we find the Beau Vallon beach which is a commercial beach hub and known as a one stop shop for water sports. Victoria market has a huge chain of small shops and dominated by the Tamil and Malayali population. We could see the Hindu Vinayagar temple as well here. In the evening, we continue our journey to Petite Anse beach.

28 December 2018

We disembark at Mahe and drive down to the "Kempenski" hotel. We were surprised by the bottle of champagne placed in our room by the hotel, wishing us on being newly wed.
And we fly back to Mahe. Well the journey time is just 20 mins and that was not enough for the views it left.
From the Valle Da Mai, we head to the famous beach of Anse Lazio at Praslin. Spent a good one hour at this beach before drove to the Praslin airport. Beach was what you see there. Stunning!!
We disembark the ferry at Praslin and head to the UNESCO World Heritage site "Valle Da Mai". This tropical forest is the abode of giant palms and the world's biggest nut and the national fruit of Seychelles called "Coco Da Mer".
Our 2 days at La Digue island are done and then we start from La Digue to Praslin on the ferry.

27 December 2018

And evening is at the hotel with Amarula, a South African drink and Takamaka, local rum of Seychelles.
At Anse Source d Argent beach. The most photographed beach in the world. See why it is so.
After snorkeling, we come back to the hotel and bike to the world's most photographed beach Anse source d'argent with sun-dappled giant boulders, calm turquoise waters, snow white sand, and palm trees and jungle for greenery.
And there we go snorkeling in those snorkelling paradises of Coco, Felicity and Sister islands which is breathtaking. Stingrays, jelly fishes, turtles and some beautiful schools of fishes.
We wake up to see a beautiful rainbow from our room. Thanks to last night's rain. We proceed to breakfast at the beachfront again in that lovely weather!

26 December 2018

And we end the day with a sumptuous dinner at the beachfront in the hotel.
After the lunch and relaxing briefly we grab a map and a tandem bike and go biking to the famous beach of Grand Anse- considered among the best in the world. There you see Anusha's excitement watching such turquoise waters for the first time!
Chilling out at a restaurant near the hotel and then enjoying the beach by our room
We disembark at La Digue after 15th mins and Natasha, the hotel manager escorted us from the deck to this lovely Beachfront hotel - La Nautique
Exploring the beauties of the Indian Ocean from Praslin to La Digue island.
Boarded a taxi from Praslin airport to the Bae Anne jetty to board the ferry to La Digue.
We disembark at the Praslin airport with some beautiful views!
We get those lovely, beautiful views of the sea and the reefs from the skies. Breathtaking!
And boarded the 20 seater Haviland aircraft. Seemed like a private jet.
As we wait in the Mahe airport for the flight to Praslin.
Landed at Seychelles Airport in Mahe!
