The Hurtigruten adventure...from Tromso to Lofoten Islands and back. What an amazing two days. Sailed along the Troll fjord and saw the memories midnight sun. Beautiful

Flew to Tromso in Norway via Stockholm and Oslo. Crossed the bridge to see the Arctic Church and then on to Fjellheisen cable car to see the panoramic views of Tromso.

A guided tour of Stockholm this morning including the amazing City Hall and stroll through Gamla Stan (the Old Town) What a beautiful city! Leisure time for the remainder of the day, visiting the Vasa Museum and ABBA Museum. Fantastic!

Day of travel today. Left Oslo for Stockholm stopping at Karlstad for lunch and passing through a few small towns.

Travelled from Geiranger back to Oslo today leaving the snow capped mountains, fjords and glaciers behind. Ysome beautiful scenery as we crossed the Grotli mountains to Lom to see the Stave Church and Lillehammer to see the Olympic ski jump. What an amazing week in Norway!

A long day from Balestrand to Geiranger. Highlight of the day was visiting Briksdal glacier. Wow! Later a ferry to Geiranger to stay in another amazing location overlooking the Geiranger fjord. Beautiful.

Travelled from Bergen to Voss, taking the train to Myrdal and connected to the Flam Railway. We stopped in Flam before taking a ferry to Gudvangen, bus to Vangsnes and then the ferry to our final destination Balestrand. Staying at the grand hotel Kviknes an historical landmark. Visited St Olafs church and saw many of the beautiful weatherboard houses with fjord views. Stunning!
Free day in Balestrand. Did walking trail of the town. Met a local artist and explored her gallery, tried troll soup and enjoyed our views from the balcony.

Travelled from Ulvik to Bergen along the Hardanger fjord. Arriving in Bergen did a 2 hour guided tour including Bryggen Harbour and the old Hanseatic Quarter. In free time we took the funicular to the top of Mt Floien for views of the city and fjords. Amazing waterfront accommodation.

Left Oslo, heading toward Ulvik. Stopped at the Viking Museum which was impressive. Stopped for lunch. at Geilo and. Then on to Voringfoss a pretty amazing waterfall and surrounds. Arrived in Ulvik 6.15 pm

Arrive on n Oslo and started the day with a three hour tour including the ski tower/ jump, Vigeland sculpture park, Karl Johans Gaten and the wharf

Had a 3 hour guided tour of the city this morning which visited Amalienborg Palace, home to the current Royal family, Christianborg Palace, Gefion Fountain and Nyhavn. Enjoyed free time in the afternoon and wandered along Stroget shopping mall on the way to the Tivoli Gardens. The gardens were beautiful and were enjoyed along with the rides and foods by many people
Free morning n Copenhagen before leaving the beautiful city behind on an overnight ferry to Oslo. Visited the marble church behind Amalienborg Palace, St Albans church, the Queens pavilion at the wharf where she awaits the Royal boat and had smorrebrod for lunch.

Arrived in Copenhagen and was lost for words on arrival at the Admiral Hotel right on the waterfront. An amazing location! Wandered Nyhavn and did a Canal Cruise to see the sights from a different perspective. Beautiful!

Wandered down to the River Liffey this morning and did the river cruise. It was great...very informative. Visited Trinity College and went to St Stephens Green area.
In the afternoon we relaxed. Dinner at Pinocchio with our gorgeous waitress.Adella

June 21 Wandered along the Liffey River close to our hotel, to the famous Hapenny Bridge... a very busy area! Had a look 👀 n a few of the shops and wandered back to Templebar, which is right on our doorstep.
Many beautiful and traditional Irish pubs, including the famous Templebar Pub, with colourful flower boxes along the cobblestoned streets, pop up markets, street painters and places to eat. What a beautiful area!
Next a walk to Christchurch Cathedral and back to Templebar past old historic buildings.
Late afternoon, joined a group of 65 tourists for a traditional Irish Music Pub Crawl, which was brilliant, before walking home. Was surprised to find that it was only just beginning to get dark at 10.15pm

June 20 The longest day...left Singas at 11.30pm Tuesday. Flights to Dublin took 15.5 hours but arrived at 6.30 am Wednesday... So of course you just start the day! Had a wander around Templebar, visited Molly Malone, had delicious food and then made our way to the Guinness storehouse. It was great and we finished on the 7 th level with a pint of Guinness and views of Dublin!!! A fabulous day finishing with a horse and carriage ride back to our hotel in Templebar! Relaxing before dinner.

June 19 After a busy day in Singas, leaving for Dublin. Started the day relaxing in the pool, brekky at a local hawkers eatery with roti and mutton curry, Popiah at Ngee Ann and a look 👀 n the shops, a visit to Lucky Plaza and a very spicy claypot chicken at Fattys. Ready for our flight to Dublin for the next adventure...
