Roma รจ Toscano

Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome and the piazza was redesigned by Michelangelo. It was surprisingly quiet, I was so happy to see the design in person.

We got a recommendation for this place from a girl from The Netherlands who was working in Rome as a tour guide. Well she gave is multiple places in Trastevere but this is the only one we could find! Directions in Rome is unlike anywhere else. And they were amazing here, great all'amatriciana, And they gave us limoncello on the house! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ
The Aqua Claudia, one of the surviving aqueduct structures in Rome. There are some underground that are still intact. The engineering of the Roman's is one of my favourite things about them.

Piazza Navona, a very lucky piazza that has 3 Bernini fountains. I wish I had 3 Bernini fountains.
St. Peter's is a sight to behold, regardless of belief. The sheer size is overwhelming, and even when full you feel a sense of grandeur. The marble from the outside was originally from the Coliseum, if I learned anything here the Roman's loved recycling.
