It was really a tiring and long night cos I had to carry 3 luggages to airport myself! And it was only when I needed to leave Taiwan, then the weather turned cold LOL. WHY IS THE WEATHER PLAYING WITH ME?!!! I was quite scared that night and really cold and I really thought I was going to freeze to death LOL. Made me slept the entire plane ride and 16 hours straight when I reached home!!!! (I woke up at 2PM on 29 Dec HAHA)
27 December 2016
It was so windy and cool!!! Nice shots taken and I was really not afraid of anything when these beautiful places are right in front of me!!!😍😍 really missed the scenery there so much!!!
Cijin Island!!! The place was so pretty and it was only a 5mins ferry ride from Kaoshiung!! Looking at my retarded and happy face, it was really truly a eventful and happy day!!!!
26 December 2016
Prettiest MRT STATION EVER (though it's the 2nd prettiest in the world. Wonder what is the 1st huh?) @ Formosa Boulevard station at Kaoshiung! 😍
Went to Fo Guang Shan after that and the place was really big and grand!!! Spent majority of the time at the wrong part and was rushing to get to the actual Fo Guang Shan at night, which explains why the photos are taken at night HAHA!
Back to a kid at Pier 2 Art District @ Kaoshiung!! The place was surprisingly big and their art exhibitions were all over the place! The entire place was divided into different districts and there were many warehouses which they sell stuff or like hold exhibitions inside! Quite a cool place and really had fun, though once again, the weather was really really hot.
25 December 2016
Last day at Taichung and we went to Miyahara Ice Cream shop near the train station to eat their icecream!! There was really a lot of flavour!! But I feel that the ice cream is okay only. I wouldn't queue for it the 2nd time though hahaha! The queue was really long though (as can be seen from the photo)!
Yup, that's me in Taiwan everyday. Unhealthy max. 😂😂
24 December 2016
Sunny hills, Monster Village (妖怪村) and Gaomei Wetland on the second day!! We hired a driver because the places were really far and inaccessible! The entire day was quite foggy, especially when we were at Monster Village. There was nothing much at sunny hills except honey and free tea and pineapple tarts lol. Didn't manage to catch the sun at Gaomei Wetland though we reached there on time cos the sun was covered by the clouds. Nonetheless, still managed to take nice photos there! The driver was really nice because he extended the time without charging us extra (we were quite worried that we couldn't make it back by 5PM if we go Gaomei Wetland to catch the sunset (cos sun sets at 5PM and by right we should reach the apartment by 5PM to avoid extra charges) but he said, 哎呀，不要计较这样多啦!) SO NICE RIGHT??
23 December 2016
First day at Taichung: slept for 5 hours (the whole afternoon) after our long bus ride from Taipei to Taichung HAHA! At night, we just went Fengjia Night Market to eat and shop! It was real big and we couldn't finish walking through the entire market. We ended up cycling back to our apartment cos it was too late and there wasn't any public transport anymore! Cycling within the first 30mins was free anyway, so we cycled quite fast just to save money HAHA!
22 December 2016
Ate at the original Din Tai Fung shop at Yongkang Street and the queue was super long (the highest queue number I saw was 1000+?!!) Thank goodness I was alone and I was willing to share table with people so I didn't have to queue at all!! YAY!! The service was real good and the waiters and waitresses actually know how to speak 4 languages!!! Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English. LIKE WOW! So committed in serving their customers from different countries!
Jiufen, Pingxi day!! It rained so a bit disappointed as we couldn't go to Jingtong in the end...
21 December 2016
Doesn't it look magical?!!!
Climbed to another part of Yangmingshan which has GRASSLAND!! So VAST and PRETTY AND THE SKIES WAS MAGICAL!! Tiring but sooo worth it 😍😍
AND FINALLY THE MT. QIXING MAIN PEAK!!! It was soooo pretty and worth the climb!!!! 😭😭😭
On my way up to Mt. Qixing... it was the only trail sign I saw after a failed attempt at asking the visitor centre cos IT WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATION!!! Zzzz.... to think I even climbed 0.7km of STAIRS for it HAIS.
The climb to the main peak was 2.4km flight of stairs WHAT THE! I almost want to gave up when I was at 0.3km, which is only 1/8 of the entire climb LOLLL. Really very tiring.... which explains my facial expression and never ending sweat LOL
20 December 2016
JUMBO ICE CREAM!!! So satisfying hahahaha
Climb xiangshan to catch the sunset!!! It was so pretty but crowded HAIS. So many people camp there so early just to get a good place and there was even this particular rock (apparently nice photo will be taken if you pose there) that people was queuing for!!! HAHAHA we wanted to queue but the sun was setting soon and we knew we couldn't get to the rock in time so no point hahaha
WALKED 1KM+ to the bird's eye view when I thought it would be really near... Nonetheless, BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND STRONG, REALLY REALLY STRONG WIND! (I thought my phone would be blown away...) 😂😂
Act 一个 candid photographer shot📸
Yehliu Geo Park!!
Best picture to describe the wind that day!!! 💨💨
Isn't this true? 😉
Stupid things that I do at night cos I didn't bring a bag to carry the dried clothes after laundry LOL
19 December 2016
PRETTY SUNSET AT 石门洞!!! (ft. lovely couple who was very cooperative that contributes to the niceness of this photo!) 😍😍
A stop en route to the Lighthouse and.... contemplating about life. #pretentious HAHA
Did this on Bai Sha Wan Beach cos the sand is soooo nice!!!!
Hahaha nooo I was just a stand-in model for my friend for all the pictures HAHAHA
It was really a nice place with a nice sky and a nice photo taken!!!😊
Attempt at reaching the end of the rocks. HAHA risking my life for it LOL! And my poor Iphone dropped among the rocks because it slipped out of my pocket. Thank goodness it didn't land into any water (kind of lucky because it looked like there was shallow waters all around haha)😅😅
First stop at Tamsui, Bai Sha Wan! It was so quiet and not crowded at all, almost like my own private beach! HAHA! But the sun was scorchingly hot... really felt cheated by the weather the whole time when I was in Taiwan cos it was so hot when it was supposed to be winter... I literally thought I was in Sg thanks to the weather LOL. ANYWAY, NICE PLACE!

Directions to my airbnb apartment:
Had to take this pictures for fear of not being able to find our way home cos it was SOOOO DIFFICULT TO FIND!!! The host didn't pick up the phone when we tried to contact him initially when we wanted to check in and caused us to be lost with our bulky luggages for like 1 hour plus..... and missed our xiang shan sunset ZZZZ. Ended up when we reached, we realised the main door's lock was spoiled lol. What an experience....
Lin Jiang Night Market aka Tonghua Night Market.
The Tangyuan was super nice when it was eaten hot!!! After it turns cold, it became quite hard and it wasn't that nice anymore hahahaha
Super pretty and well decorated hostel that I stayed - Space Inn Hostel, just located 5mins from Ximen Station!!
17 December 2016
Cycled from the cafe just now back to my hostel! First cycling experience in Taiwan and it was so nice!! Hehehe! The place is really bike friendly!!!
MET WITH MY TAIWANESE PRIMARY SCHOOL FRIEND AT NIGHT! How cool is that??? The boss of the shop was even so nice to give us a free cake when he heard that I am a foreigner! And he wrapped the mug from the cake until so pretty!!! NICEEE!!!
Night by the Bitan River with the 3rd suspension bridge I saw on that day: the Bitan Suspension Bridge!! Christmas was coming so the entire place was decorated with Christmas decorations and filled with music! It was so relaxing and chill and I coincidentally saw the water light show!! It was so pretty!
P.S: Technically, it's not night time yet cos it was only 5 plus in the evening, but their sun sets very early at around 5-5.10PM.
After a long long day of walk, this is the best part! FREE PAO JIAO! Thanks to the old man who told me about this free public leg hotspring that was beside the visitor centre, I had a great time!! Though I didn't bring towel to dry my feet so I just took a lot of toilet paper from the toilet HAHA IT WAS SO SHIOK!!!!
Food Food Food Food Food Food!!!!!
I would say, the thing I love most is... THE 7/11 CHA YE DAN (Herbal Tea Egg)!!! IT'S SO NICE!!! But it can't be found in Sg.... So I really ate a lot of that in Taiwan!
NEXT, the Muah Chee is one of the speciality at Wulai and it was really nice! Mine was with red bean topping and it was 现烤现卖! Doesn't it look tempting??
Lastly, I ate the 竹筒饭 (Bamboo rice) there! They had the vegetarian one WOOHOO! I specially brought it all the way to the riverside to take this photo LOL! Until it turned a bit cold when I ate it cos I spent too much time taking nice photos of it HAHA
Words on the sign: 情人步道 （Lover's Road)
Reason why I took this photo: I saw many couples that day, and I looked at myself - I WAS ALONE 😭
So.... I just had a random thought that next time, I must bring my bf to walk this bridge HAHA
My deepest, truest feeling towards Wulai 🤓
Really, really, really really really hard earned view of this suspension bridge!! Long story short, I walked a long long way to reach this place and even almost gave up halfway because it was really too far. Thanks to a lady who told me to continue to walk further and it was really nice of her!! MADE MY EFFORTS PAID OFF!!
Wulai Waterfall and its river was so beautiful and the place was so tranquil!!! Really love the place alot!!
Met a super kind and cute old man who offered to bring me around Wulai for a tour!!! This photo taken with his bus licence because he thinks that he is better looking when he was younger hehehe so cute!!
Famous Yonghe Dou Jiang! Bought from the Ximending Branch! Quite disappointed in the You Tiao cos it was cold (because they fried it and left it outside to sell, not fried on the spot), but the Dou Jiang was really nice!!
16 December 2016
MY EXCITED FACE WHEN I JUST REACHED TAIPEI MAIN STATION AFTER TAKING MY FIRST EVER FLIGHT ALONE AND BUS TO TAIPEI FROM TAOYUAN!! It was 14 degree celsius and I FINALLY BREAK AWAY FROM THE HOT WEATHER IN SG!!! YAY! 😍😍
