14 January 2018

Had a in room dining breakfast and relaxed in the hotel. Took a short bike ride and enjoyed playing fuseball and other games in the gaming room. Headed back to the airport after a late check-out and went to Bikanerwala for a quick lunch and headed straight to the airport.

Had evening lunch cum snacks at Tapri Tea House in C scheme. Lovely rooftop restaurant overlooking the gardens and giving a nice view of the sunset. Food and chai were delicious there. Headed back to the hotel in the evening which was spent playing cards and dinner, in the hotel itself.
Had a relaxing morning in the hotel and headed for shopping in the afternoon. Shopped at vasansi. Zari and other we're just glanced at but looked overpriced.

Had a fun filled evening at choki dhani playing games, listening to some music and having the traditional Rajasthani thali. Didn't fancy the food much but nice village setting to enjoy.
Had lunch here which was really nice and filling. Worth eating here for a good meal. Then headed for some shopping but didn't get much around.
Headed for the Amber fort tour. Hired a local guide to explain the secrets of the fort. The tour guide was very informative and while there took some great shots of the whole group as well. The Amber fort is definitely worth visiting and must while visiting Jaipur. Took around 2-3 hours for the whole tour to complete. There is an option to go by Jeep to the entrance but nonetheless it is an easy 15 min walk and and should be done by whom so ever possible.

Nice place for desserts serving waffles and gelto ice cream.
Had dinner here in open with a bornfire like setting. The ambience was very nice but not the food, which had no flavour to the Italian food it served.
Amber fort is very close from the hotel. Headed for their light and sound show which happens in the evening. Attended the one in Hindi and ran for 45 mins. Was nice and informative. The weather however kept dropping and was nice and cold in the evening. The hotel gave free bikes which was nice to take outside the hotel in the evening.
After lunch headed straight for Fairmont hotel. It is in kukas which is further north of the city and approximately 40 mins away from the city. Our welcome felt like a royal palace welcome with drums beating and petals being put from overhead until our entrance into the building. Continued live music kept us company played by different people until we reached the hotel reception. The hotel is magnificent and nicely built. Although hotel looks more grande and big in the photos. The rooms again give a very royal feeling and spoil you with luxury. Big beds , big bathrooms and all amenities are present.
