My birthday weekend in Barça

3 August 2014

The last day we took time to visit the stunning Gaudi masterpiece that is the unofficial symbol of Barça: the Sagrada Familia. We bought our tickets online so that we did no queue. The cathedral, not yet finished, is inspired by nature's shapes so it reminds a sacred forest. The Parc Guell is now open only with a ticket that we didn t bought before so it was impossible to le tour friends that never saw it Enjoy a break under its shadows

We had a great day visiting Montjuic, the Gracìa area and eating tipical "comida" in a little place we found abandoning the messy rambla and letting us be guided by curiosity in the amazing "El raval". We also visited and get lost in the beautiful hidden squares of the Barrio Gotico
we had a great night start at "Esprit Chupito"
We had a beautiful piso en Carrer de Rosselló 408, found on Airbnb. The host, Daria, welcomed us at 00,30 in the night, she s been very kind and the flat had the wifi. The position was strategic, right in front of the Sagrada Familia

We left from Milan (Bergamo airport) with a ryanair flight in the late evening. The flight was late but we had a surprise. We discovered that ryanair now assigns the priority boarding randomly during the online check in so veneta and I had a special treatment during boarding procedure :-)
