We've arrived in our new home! Movers have been and gone, just all the unpacking left. It was a great 6 years in WA and a fun trip over. Going to miss all our friends in Perth and of course the beautiful weather, but ready for a new adventure on this beautiful island.
After a relaxing day in Melbourne, visiting some nice cafes and the awesome Brighton dog beach, we are now in our deluxe cabin on the Spirit of Tasmania, ready to arrive in our new home tomorrow.

Long day driving from Nuriootpa to Ballarat. Planning for a nice relaxing day tomorrow in Melbourne before taking the ferry to our new home state of Tasmania.

Spent last night in a lovely campsite in Melville, by Mount Remarkable. Bazinga was quick to find the local possum. Today, stopped for breakfast in Crystal Brook and lunch in Adelaide. Then the mandatory stop off at "The Home of the Brave" to taste and buy some of our favourite First Drop wine. All the staff remembered Bazinga from about 6 months ago and he was once again rewarded, this time with some top quality Serrano ham rather than the sausages he got last time! Now spending the night just up the road in Barossa Tourist Park in Nuriootpa. I think there must be lots of animals in the neighbouring trees as we're having trouble stopping Bazinga from barking :-(

Surprisingly great brekkie stop in Streaky Bay
Pleasant overnight stay in Haslam.

Went to the Head of the Bight whale watching centre but unfortunately didn't see any whales :-(
After a chilly night we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Ready for another day of driving.

Just passed the SA border and camped in an awesome bush camp (10 peg beach) on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. It's the start of the Southern Wright whale migration so if the wind dies down, we may get lucky.
The rest of the 1200km road is pretty straight too.
Not enough connection for photos...
We left Perth on Sunday afternoon and spent the night in Meckering, about 1.5 hours out of Perth.
Yesterday we drove about 7.5 hours to Fraser Range Sheep Station where we arrived on the only night with Vegan food, so we had dinner with everyone else by a lovely warm fire rather than cold on the camper :-)
Today we should be crossing the border into South Australia and stay not too far past that.
