Mister.i's adventure in Netherlands

7 March 2016

And it's all over. Back at the airport for my flight home. No delays as I thought there may be due to some snow earlier in the morning. I have to say KLM was a most pleasant and simple experience. I returned to England and my car lol it was all sunny. Amsterdam you was amazing, I will be back hopefully in September to have another go at my PB 😊
Train To The Airport
Time to go the Airport
Breakfast before making my way home 😢
Late Night Drinks At Roots Cafe, Rnb DJ until 1am then they switched to a band. Was the only place still open and considering it was a Sunday it was pretty busy.

Afternoon Shopping Trip
Great Race got myself new a PB 😊
After breakfast I made my way to the start line. I didn't want to use the bag drop so I made a make shift plastic jumper as it was pretty chilly on my earlier trip. Was a lot easier this time around and all the signs where now up pointing the way. I was in the first wave and was able to get right at the front. Right under the official clock
Race Day Was so excited, race day was here and I felt good. Firstly I had to locate the race secretary to collect my race pack. It opened at 8 am and my race was at 12 midday. Goggle maps indicated it was 20 mins away so I made my way there bright and early with a plan to arrive just after 8. With it being a Sunday it was very quite out and locating the tent for the pack was a bit of a challenge but I got there in the end. Pack in hand I made my way back to the hotel for breakfast.

Went for a late night walk in search for some food. Found a Chinese Restutant which was highly recommended on Trip Advisor. Google maps said it was a 15 min walk so I took a stroll there. Good food and food atmosphere although did get a few strange looks as I was dining alone. Made a note of some of the high street stores and planned some Sunday shopping after my run
Wanted to watch the Spurs game, so headed to O'reillys pub in the centre of Amsterdam near Adam Square. Great atmosphere friendly people and the Bar staff certainly make sure you are never without a top up 😊
Amsterdam Arena Took a trip to the Dutch Nation Stadium, also home to Ajax Amsterdam. Realised that quote a few of my face players played at this club at some stage. Ibrahimavic, Van Basten and Tottenham's Christain Errickson all played here
The Train System Is Amazinly Simple, Was a Bit Worried With Getting Around, But Looks Like It's Going To Be Easier Than I Thought (Along With Google Maps & Uber lol)
Landed In Amsterdam. Short Flight, Only 55 Mins, Bought a travel card for €15 gives me unlimited travel in Amsterdam. Time to find a Starbucks or Equvilant for some breakfast
