Today we got on the metro to Grand Central Station, it was huge and very cool to see. The underground here is a little bit of a rip off as you can't get a day pass, you have to pay $3 per trip. Next we went to Central Park where we walked around for a while, saw the fountain from friends and the stair way from Home Alone 2. Next we headed over to Trump Tower, as he just won the election the area was on lock down. Police everywhere and people taking pictures.
Our first activity was a helicopter ride over the city! It was amazing to see it properly from the sky and the pilot was full of interesting facts about the city.
Once we got back on the ground we walked over to the 9/11 manorial There was an incredibly sad feel to the area, seeing the size of the foot space the towers took up and all the names written around the perimeter really hit home.
In the evening we went to Time Square to watch the election, it was rammed. What a place to be on such an historic night.

We finally made it to New York. Went out for a slice, nice feel to the city.
Last day out and about in LA was nice just mooching around When we walked through Venice there was world peace drum circle, it was basically a load of people on the beach banging drums, playing other instruments and having a good time. Just after sunset the police came along and made them leave.

Mike treated us to dinner (again!) and then we headed back to the hotel, got twisted and laughed at Family Guy.
Mike had a trouser malfunction so we popped into a shop so he could get some new swag
It's was great to meet up with Robbie again, he's still loving life here and has just been promoted at Apple to an Expert.

First day back in California. We went for a walk about and then a nice bike ride. After that long flight plus the walking and zero sleep my legs and feet were feeling pretty shit. Pop into the green doctors and got ripped right off. Good to be back though.
