‘The Balcony of Geneva’ Mont Saleve is actually located across the boarder in France and forms part of the sub alpine range known as the French Prealps. Take the number 8 bus from Cornavin station to the end of the line then a 5 min walk to the cable car. Once you have taken in the view of Geneva from 4500ft+ take the extra walk up the path to the summit for a great view of the alps including Mont Blanc.

The point where the Rhône and Arve rivers intersect. A short walk from the main centre along the Rhône riverside to the end of the road. You can see the green and clear alpine waters mix to create a natural marbled effect.
‘The Venice of the alps’ Annecy lies on the northern tip of Lake Annecy. With a stunning mountain backdrop and stretches of cafe and restaurant lined canals to explore. A short hour bus ride from the Geneva bus station direct. Easy to book online no need to pay for expensive excursion costs. Easily spend half a day exploring and taking in the beauty of the surroundings. For a longer day you can hire bicycles and ride around the lakeside.
