Day 4: More waterfalls, greenhouses and the oldest hot tub in Iceland dating back to 1280 built by the guy who compiled The Sagas of Icelanders!
Day 4: great trip to the Langjokull glacier, Iceland's second largest glacier. We drove up to 1280m high and went into an ice tunnel that goes 80 m.into the glacier. Was great to see the layers of ice and volcanic ash frozen deep.

Day 3: Standing at the edge of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates at the pingvellir national park. The rifts fit like a jigsaw puzzle.
Day 3: Gullfoss waterfalls on the Golden circle. Simply breathtaking which is why it is the most popular waterfalls despite it not being the tallest it the widest waterfalls in Iceland.

Hallgrimskirkja cathedral is beautiful from the outside and offers even better views from the tower. Definitely worth checking out the panoramic views of Reykjavik especially during sunset.
