Love these little dudes. They scurry across the beach really quick in search for small crabs 🦀
Thank you for having us Barbados we have loved every minute of our holiday 🇧🇧
A little trek along the beautiful west coast beach 🐚 🌊☀️🏝🌴🥥
This morning we were up at 6am trekking the east coast of Barbados. We climbed the highest peak in Barbados at 600 feet and breathed in the freshest air from the Atlantic Ocean. What beautiful views too!
23 April 2018
Steak and penne pasta in the Reef restaurant followed by a coconut pomade and cheese and biscuits. The food out here has been lovely.

One of the most protected buildings in the world, sugar producing windmill
See that mans face in the mountains ⛰
Quick beer and rum stop
More of east coast
Coconut trees everywhere
Church on a steep hill of clay. Close up you can see the church is splitting. Barbados land is made up of coral but dome houses are built on sand. Risky business as many people looks their homes when they slide down the hill but yet they continue to build it’s crazy!!
There is sugar canes everywhere out here, used for the molasses to make their well know right m which wax the very first rum distilled in the world!
Our tour guide Ruell crazy ass he was but in a good way.
And we’re off 🐒
A spot of lunch and then we are off on safari
On my down under the water
Steve has a new mask that he cannot wait yo test! Looks like he’s going in for gas!!

Tonight we are going to the reef restaurant for an a la carte meal ❤️💙
I love the sand between my toes however my husband hates it so this is a rare photo of him on the beach!
🐢 we shall hopefully see some turtles tomorrow. We are heading out on a powerboat to snorkel and swim with them 🚤
We found a pretty little town with a few bars and a bit of reggae playing, such a great vibe
My darling husband!
We ventured out of our complex today to view the beach and Speightstown
Someone has had one too many rums!
Drinking tea on my balcony and making the most of this beautiful country

The street food out here is incredible. We had flying fish which is a Barbadian delicacy and swordfish. Both were delish!
The rain was crazy. It down poured so hard for 5 minutes and then completely disappeared! It was so refreshing as it’s 30 degrees out here
The beer delicacy of Barbados and for just £1.00 a bottle, it’s worth every penny
We are off to Oistins street party for jazz music, seafood and bajan delights
So pretty, I just love the sound of the sea 🌊
We made another friend!!
Barbadian bbq for lunch with awesome views
Fresh coconuts 🥥 🌴
Coconut 🥥🌴 water with free pouring dark rum and a bbq Barbadian way!
Strawberry daiquiri time!
Beer o clock 🍻
So those trees on the beach that look beautiful are in fact very poisonous! The fruit that fall of the trees that look like apples can burn through your skin within 60 seconds! Although the trees are dangerous they are kept on the beach because they prevent erosion. Let’s just hope there are no tree huggers out here! So there are no dangerous bugs or animals just deadly trees!
Being British and drinking tea on our balcony and making the most of these beautiful views
Good morning Barbados 🇧🇧

🇧🇧 The Almond Beach Resort which is soon going to be transformed into a Sandals resort. Such a shame as this place has a lot of character
We seem to be attracted by the birds
Teeny tiny blackbirds
The Daiquiris mixed with the Mount gay rum are too good to resist!!
We made some friends today with some mischievous little monkeys. They will steal out of your bag at every opportunity but they are super cute! Fooled by many 🐒
They even cater sunbeds for the smallest!
Absolutely perfect views from our room
Love an hibiscus flower, my favourite that it’s even tattooed on my foot!! 🌺
Looks like my cat got into my suitcase!! 😻
