A traditional pub in Manchester.

Christmas shopping at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.

8 December 2017

Fish and chips at Wright's.

6 December 2017

Ramen at Shoryu Ramen.
Ramen at Shoryu Ramen.
Manchester at night.

4 December 2017

Dinner was at the Ask Italian chain restaurant. Not great but decent - tagliatelle with prawns.
I'm happy to report that Taco Bell in the UK is (mostly) as it is in the US.

3 December 2017

I loved the breakfast at this hotel. It was great, with many choices.

2 December 2017

I stated at the Hamburg Reichshof Curio, which is part of the Hilton family and is a very nice hotel.
The Christmas market around the town hall.
Christmas market in Hamburg.
Dinner was Portuguese food. We had three kind of fish. It was my first time eating Portuguese cuisine and I liked it.
I took off for a very short trip on the weekend to Hamburg to direct a photo shoot of our office there. It looks very nice.
Sunrise over the American consulate.

30 November 2017

Late in the day, but all the guys together, waiting to catch the train from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.
We took a day trip down to London. It was nice but very cold. I don't know if it's possible in the photo but it was snowing.

29 November 2017

I had dinner at a pretty decent Italian restaurant on Liverpool Road near the hotel called Per Tutti. The food was pretty good but I was intrigued as to why they had paté on the menu so I ordered it. It was very good! My main was a lobster ravioli with just the right kick if spiciness and was delicious!

28 November 2017

The lobby bar at the Hilton in Deansgate.
Manchester's Christmas market.

26 November 2017

But the view for breakfast is nice.
The Hilton Manchester Deansgate. I don't like it as much as the Hilton DoubleTree Piccadilly. It's farther from the office and the breakfast is not as good.

25 November 2017

The United amenity kit for First Class. It's commemorating the Boeing 747. I prefer the Saks Fifth Avenue kit. That pouch was versatile for toiletries, cables, and small electronics.
Airplane food can be hit or miss, and it's mostly miss. But this roasted pork chop was half way decent.
The flight was delayed by 45 minutes. We have a tail wind heading across the Atlantic so the flight will be just under 6 hours. First Class helps... I can stretch it my legs.
I found a place near gate C82. They had half way decent sushi. Plus it's my first time trying a Brooklyn Lager. It was just ok.
Arriving at Newark International Airport and looking for a place to eat. There are a lot of options but most of them are mediocre.
San Diego International Airport at 5:30 am is still a busy place.
And it starts. I just got through security. Even with TSA Pre-Checked the line was longer than usual. That was expected s this was just after Thanksgiving.
