Life is a journi

9 November 2017

How did I end up in Taiwan? Excellent question. Literally right place, right time with the needed skillset and could pick up and go. 10 days after accepting my job offer I was on a long haul flight to my new life in a new country. People said I was crazy, I thought so too for a little bit but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I had fun at work, sometimes I wanted to pull my hair out, but I’d do it all over again. I made a Taiwan family and an ex-pat family who I will miss!

To continue about me.... I’m a dog person and I had a Great Dane named Kira. She was the love of my life but she got sick with bone cancer and had to leave me on 6/16/17, she was only 8. It was the worst thing I ever had to do and I still miss her everyday. Everyday is also a battle for me. I have good days and bad days and it’s ok to feel that way. I’m the face of mental and emotional abuse, major depression, anxiety and insomnia. I’m the face of survival and strength. I’ve loved and I’ve lost....many times but I still keep faith that there are still good people in this world. I love food, craft beer, crossfit, competition shooting and the color blue. I love sloths, laughing and smiling. I love to sit and watch and listen, I’m quiet but I like it. I also love to travel which has brought me to this blog writing. Enough about me, hopefully we connected on one or more things, and onto the adventure. #andsotheadventurebegins

Welcome to my world through text and photos of my adventures. I’m opening up my past, present and future to you all. I hope you enjoy 😊 Who am I? Most of you know me but a lot of you still don’t. My name is Morgan, I’m 32 years old, a 10 year veteran of the US Coast Guard and have been working with helicopters for 11 years. Helicopters are like a bad relationship, you just keep going back to them. I’m originally from Pennsylvania but I call Florida home, I’m divorced, I have a giant heart, I’m fun, kind, caring, quick witted. I’m a daughter and a friend, a “sister” to three amazing ladies named Jessica, Niki, and Theresa and an honorary aunt to my nephew Loyal James (LJ) and my niece Piper. I haven’t met them yet but I love them to death already.
