Decoration from Songkran (Thai new year)
As soon as we dropped our cases in the room, we immediately changed and headed out to see the Buddhas and temples!
So again, our hotel is out of this world!
Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui.
Our view landing in Koh Samui 😍

We arrived in Phuket yesterday (11th April) after a short 1 hour flight. We loved Bangkok and all the sightseeing but we're so excited for more relaxation and less of the busy crowds.
So we arrived at our first destination on Sunday (9th of April)... Bangkok.
We stepped off the plane to a boiling 30 degrees and after 2 flights, we just wanted our hotel bed!
The Big Buddha of Phuket!
Gorgeous sky and food to finish our second evening in Phuket.
Ready for tomorrows adventures 😃
Visiting Wat Chalong ✨
A monkey decided to hold my hand 🐒
The infinity pool and hotel grounds are stunning!

We took advantage of happy hour and had lovely Thai food 😍
Testing out our pool 👌🏻
Our hotel is out of this world!
We got upgraded from a standard villa to a villa with our own pool 😍
It has a downstairs with a sofa, a tv and a shower and toilet room; upstairs is the king size bed, another tv, huge bathtub and another toilet and outdoor shower! Just for the two of us.
Not forgetting our own pool!
Next stop... Phuket!

Street food and Bangkok's china town!
Very busy but a must see for the street food; the chicken and pork skewers were that nice, we went back for seconds.
If you want the best view of Bangkok, Sky Bar is the place. You can go up just for the view but there is a bar with expensive drinks and cocktails. Very formal and posh bar and would be lovely for the evening.
The Grand Palace and Royal Temple!
Amazing place and a must see while in Bangkok.
Beautiful architecture. The photos do not do this place justice.
When in Thailand... wear elephant trousers 🐘
No shorts are allowed in the temples and shoes must be removed.
We saw lots of colourful buildings, temples and buddhas. The culture of Thailand.
The day after we arrived was our sightseeing day. We travelled by river boat and tuk tuks as they are so cheap!

Royal Orchid Sheraton was our hotel in Bangkok.
Amazing! Right by the river and our room had a lovely view.
