Let me tour you to my homeland

3 January 2018

Aaaah, yes. Manila. City of noise, stress, and pollution. But also a city of history, art, culture, and the craziest nightlife—a city I call home. Just like how the song goes: "Manila, I keep coming back to Manila. There's no place like Manila. Manila, I'm coming home." So here are a few photos of me with my friends and all of the night outs we've had within the Metro because, well, I love my friends and all of our craziest memories are in the city.

Masbate isn’t really anyone’s first destination choice when coming to the Philippines as it is not that well-known. However, it is definitely a place that’s worth going to! Surrounded with clear water and numerous beaches, friendly locals, and islets, this is a recommended haven for unwinding and relaxation.

Kalanggaman Island is probably one of the most beautiful islands in the Philippines (and we have, like, more than 7,000!!) There’s a long strip of sandbar with soft and pure sand surrounded with the clearest water! A true definition of paradise 🏝

Breathe in the fresh breeze and soak yourself in clear water in Malapascua Island—a great destination for divers or just people who wants to get away from the city! (I promised myself that I will build a beach house here in the near future. That’s how much I fell in love with the island)

Puerto Galera is another well known diving site in the Philippines. This place is complete with nightlife, clean beaches, affordable hotels, island hoppings, and day trip activities!

The La Paz Sand Dunes in Laoag, Ilocos Norte is a great destination for thrill seekers! You get to either ride a 4x4 or ATV in a desert-like surrounding! Oh, and there’s an unlimited sandboarding, too (yes, that’s a thing)

Tagaytay is a famous weekend/holiday destination in Luzon which is home of a little active volcano: Taal Volcano. Visitors are presented with various activities such as horseback riding or trekking to the crater of Taal, ziplining and more horseback riding at Picnic Grove, and a visit to the Sky Ranch Amusement Park.

Subic is another famous diving destination in the Philippines which presents several thrill-seeking activities and beautiful tourist destinations!

Batangas is a home to numerous beautiful beaches which makes it one of the famous holiday or weekend destinations in Luzon. My friends and I decided to stay in Nasugbu, Batangas and we were greeted with clean and peaceful environment, clear water, and several diving cliffs.
