Lacked elegance - dough - not as sugary and more chewy than the rest, closest to a northern Chinese bun , a good change

# 黑芝麻包 - bread almost cake like - sesame lacks depth and fragrance, mellow flavoured and quite oily - 6/10 # 豆沙包 - bread as per above - red bean filling: smooth, thick, sugary paste - 6/19 # 香菇素菜包 - filling: cabbage, mushroom and tofu. Light and delicate (not as much as jingan) - bread is very well done - fluffy, soft and sweet texture like HK one (almost baby soft, best dough so far), bit too sweet - YUM - 7.5/10 # 和平街黃昏市場

# stumbled by # $18 each,6 for $90 # 皮很Q # 竹筍包 - ask for a 高麗菜包 but she gave me this ... wasn't even busy as well 😑 - dull and lacked vitality - taste like a labour workers food - rough , salty and peppery # 高麗菜包 - much better than 他們的竹筍包 ! - sweet and juicy yet lacks depth and personality - trying to be sophisticated # 芋泥包 - 太太太甜了 ... 救命啊 😰 - very much over powered the taros natural taste - had to add salt to counteract the high sugar intensity - 他們的地瓜包也是那麼甜 ! # 紅豆包 # 黑芝麻包 - quite gritty - there is depth but not of sesame ? - not too sweet # 綠豆包

# 永豐盛包子店 # seeing what the hype is all about # 包子 = $25,饅頭 = $15 # 高麗菜包 - bread is very sweet , filling is too , overall : sweet sweet and lacked depth # 竹筍包 - filling is dull and lacked vitality with minimal meat # 紅豆包 - red bean paste was very non authentic, taste more buttery than anything else - gross ! # 黑芝麻 - there was depth but not with the price tag # 花生包 - the filling taste like peanut candy and was very very sweet - disappointment ! # 巧克力饅頭 - basically a plain 饅頭 with brown colouring, had to dip it with melted chocolate for it to taste anything like chocolate - disappointment # In conclusion: highly overrated and not worth the price tag even if it includes a 發票 ! 👎🏻👎🏻

Sesame, pepitas etc) not worth extra 5c # 高麗菜包 -YUM ! Fragrant, sweet and flavourful # 竹筍包 - YUM ! Peppery, textural and flavourful # 雪菜包 - surprisingly nice . subtly sweet soft filling encased by pillowy bread # 鮮肉包 - okay ... small meatball, freezer issue # 梅干肉包 - okay ... freezer issue # In conclusion: 紅豆,黑芝麻,高麗菜,竹筍包,雪菜 =👌🏻👌🏻
