Kerry's voyage in Malaysia

14 August 2017

Finally, we ended the day with a shopping spree in the giant mall next to the Patronus Towers before heading to the airport. It has been a wonderful weekend with two wonderful friends. Until next time!
The following day, we took to hop-on-hop-off bus all around the city to see the different sites. They provided an English speaking guide as we went. There is a lot of history and culture in this city that is definitely worth exploring.

During the evening, we found ourselves in the city centre watching a spectacular fountain and light show and seeing the towers lit up at night time. It is a beautiful place.
Next, we visited the KL Bird Park where there were over 3000 birds and 200 different species. They were so colourful and beautiful. It was fantastic to be able to get so close to these incredible creatures. Some of our favourites were the Hornbills, Toucans, Peacocks and Flamingoes.
The first trip we did was to the Batu Caves. It was brilliant. We climbed many stairs but it was worth it. We had great views of the city and the caves were full of shrines, monkeys, bats and various other critters that stayed well-hidden. If you want to venture to the dark caves, you must wear sensible footwear.
