Our hotel at night
The main plaza/park is surrounded by these spectacular churches.
Our view at dinner and my favorite gold wall.
This is actually our hotel....and lunch. The other courtyard is where we ate lunch
Our new hotel. Another incredible place, thanks to my travel planner. And chicken buses at the Mayan market. Oh, and it's very warm! Thought it would be cooler.
Breakfast at our hotel.

Arrived! Great flights
All packed and ready to go. We're taking 40 lb of school supplies, medical supplies, socks and underwear to two different programs and Guatemala. One is Nino's of Guatemala that helps provide education for less fortunate families. The other I don't recall the name of the organization but it helps out families whose lives are centered around the garbage dumps. And I had room for clothes. The exciting thing is my suitcases will be almost empty on the way home to fill with fun things.
Watch for pictures!
