Kathryn's tour through Netherlands

Canals and flowers and history, oh my! An old man told us to note how some houses leaned forward, and that was due to the soft ground they were built on. While that might not be too true, I decide to believe hag instead of the real reason. Also, the Anne Frank house, while a little crowded, is an impactful and harrowing experience the world should soak up.

The windmills! Zaanse Schans is adorable and quaint and the windmills are a necessity to see in Amsterdam. The day was rainy with ridiculously high winds, but oh man the cheese house gave us a very cheesy lunch that was worth it.
The Rijks Museum is definitely a great way to spend a rainy few hours - gorgeous examples of the talents of humans. Also, it was great to download the RijksMuseum app for a free audio tour with so many options.
