A very nice way to see the Statue of Liberty is using the Staten Island Ferry. It's free and runs 24 hours a day. I love boats and the sea. Always so peaceful 🚢
Coney Island which is located right at Brighton Beach, was one of my favorite places :) I loved seeing the sunset and all the people having fun on the rides or just laying around at the beach having a date.

One of my favorite places in NYC was the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar. It's located on 5th Avenue and you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Empire State Building and the skyline in general. The food and cocktails were amazing too 😍 Make sure to come before the sun goes down so you can watch the sunset and actually get a table before it gets too crowded.

On our first day we bought tickets for the hop on of hop off bus tour which I can highly recommend! The ways in NYC are long, the subways crowded and hot and so I found it much nicer to be on a bus. The comments of the guides were super interesting and funny, very enjoyable :)
Of course Times Square was the first place we needed to see in NYC! It's literally like in the movies and I loved seeing all the shops. Especially the Disney Store were I bought the cutest little hat and gloves for my cousin's unborn baby boy :)
Central Park was a real oasis after spending time surrounded by so many people. Grab a hot dog and take walk to the lovely lakes. People can "adopt" benches in Central Park and put little notes on them that are mostly very emotional and personal.

On our way to Brooklyn we crossed the Manhattan bridge which offers an amazing view at the skyline. The weather in NYC didn't disappoint at all and spoiled us with a blue sky every day. The best place to see the sunset is the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Met some amazing people there too.. Love how open minded Americans are 😃
After our first flight from Frankfurt to New York City got cancelled and a lot of stress at the airport, my cousin and I finally made it to Big Apple. New York welcomed us with one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in my life and the view from the plane was spectacular. Ready for this adventure 😍
