On the way back to the airport ✈️
Last dinner in Palma: Tapas for everyone of us. Super delicious 👌🏻
Some hidden old alleys & churches.
The last day on Mallorca we spent in our finca until noon and had lunch there as well. After dropping our rental car we drove to Palma!
There is no better way than visiting a City with a local 🙂 Guillermo made a little tour with us, to show the most important and beautiful sights!
One stop was the oldest olive tree we have ever seen which is in front of the city hall.
First impressions of Palma 😍
22 July 2018
Playing “Shithead”. Chris explained all us how to play and of course we defeated him in our first game 👊
The evening we spent at our home, cooking pasta di frutti di mare 🦐, enjoying the pool and claying cards 🙂
As soon as we are back in the harbor in Port de Soller, the weather changes again and the sun is back 😂☀️
The weather is turning around🌧️, thankfully we are close to the harbor 🙏 When we arrived we were completely wet cause the waves hit so hard 💦
The last spot for snorkeling is behind an island that you only see in satelitte view 😉 which is really amazing! We even see some divers there 🐠🐙🐟
We visit another cool canyon called “Torrent de sa Mora” but unfortunately we can not swim there as there are too many jellyfish. The current takes them there and then they have a hard time to escape from there.
The next bay we make a stop is called Cala Tuent. We also went for a swim. Andy even without a mask. So he wasn’t able to see the jellyfish and touched two, but they are not dangerous. It’s like a Brennnessel in Austria.
Samuel prepared lunch for us 😍 We learned how to eat the typical Mallorca bred: 1. take half a tomato 🍅 and squeeze it on the bred 2. put on salt 3. put on olive oil. 4. put on ham and cheese if you want.
Jump, jump, jump, jump! 😂
We arrived in La Calobra Torrent which is such a beautiful place 😍
First stop is a funny hole that actually looks like Mallorca 😜
Bianca also sights a dolphine which is actually not that common! Sam said he inly saw 6 this season 🐬🐬🐬
Today we are discovering the north coast with our own boat 🚣♀️ and our skipper Samuel. Sam is a friend of Guillermos dad and a really nice guy 🙂
We start in a little harbor called Cala Molins.

Dinner in the town
Evening on the beach 😍
It was super crowded in the beginning but in the evening it was just amazing ❤️
The last challenge was to take a Selfie with the Journi logo and Team B won that with their ninja headband idea 😜
So in the end as all teams had 2 points we decided to go all together to the cinema 😎
The Journi quizz about question like: „How many active subscriptions do we have?“ or „what is the maximum page count of our photo books?“ was a head to head race btw Team B and Team Shark, but the boys won 😜
Drawing the logo in 60sec goes to Team B: Bo & Bianca but building the biggest sand tower in the same time was definitely a point for Andi and Mano again (already distroyed on the picture though 😏)
Second challenge was stone Boccia which Chris & Guillermo won!
Andreas prepared the Journi Olympics: first activity was the two-legs-two-people run.
Point goes to the tallest guys Andi and Mano 😜
We went snorkeling and even saw some rays 👌🏻 Bo learned how to dive until the bottom to reach the sand 🙂
Today we visited Platja des Trenc to have some team building activities but also enjoy the time on the sea and cristal clear water 🙂
20 July 2018
Afterwards we enjoy the view and a cocktail at the rooftop bar of the hotel 🍸
Majorcan almond cream with apricot from Porreras
Black cuttlefish with aioli
Raviolo of lamb with its juice and bechamel
Corvina with fennel and orange salad
Honeyed pork ribs with honey with apoiobo
Black chocolate sponge cake with peanuts and creamy vanilla
In the evening we drove to Palma to have a special dinner at Rosetó Restaurant Bar. Beautiful atmosphere and great food ❤️
We took the Menú degustación noches that includes house wine, water, coffee and bread as well. 👌🏻
Evening walk through the beautiful inner city of Palma
Afterwards we drove to Cala Formentor which was quite crowded.
Today we visited Formentor, the most northern Part of Mallorca. We stopped at this beautiful viewpoint!
For lunch we stay at home and have some traditional Spanish ham and cheese with Estrella 🍻
Today we are doing some team building activities, reflecting on the last year and brainstorming and talking about our future plans for Journi ✈️

Ice Cream Time 🍧🍦🍨
We arrived in Valdemossa, according to Guillermo one or the most lovely towns in Mallorca 😍
We reached our todays destination: Banyalbufar. A beautiful town build in the steap mountain side of the north coast. We could luckily park very close to the beach ☀️
We are picking up some food in the town of Binissalem. The region we are staying, basically in the middle of the island, is well known for it’s wine 🍷
Our local is showing us Almonds fresh from the tree 👌🏻
Trying Ensaimada for the first time! Wow 👌🏻 We got it as a present from our Airbnb host! ❤️
Our beautiful house, which we rented at Airbnb 😍
As it is quite in the middle of Mallorca we can reach everything in 30-50min and it is was not so pricey as all places close to the sea! We are really amazed!
Renting a car took a bit longer than expected 😂 but now we got a big car instead of 2 small cars for the same price 😎
Arriving in Palma 😎
Guess what’s our flight 😂
The early bird 🦅 catches the worm 🐛
On our way to the airport!
18 July 2018
Tomorrow we - the Journi team - are ready for our annual team trip! This time we are going to Mallorca to visit the home island of our iOS developer Guillermo! ☀️
