Arrived in Hanoi by train and it was immediate downpour of rain! We enjoyed good food on the first night before calling it an early night! In the following days we checked out the awesome lakes around Hanoi, St Joseph’s CAthedral, the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and the famous prison where John McCain was held!

Arrived in a sleeper town to the city of Ninh Binh and we stayed in the historic Tam Coc area. We rode bicycles the town and saw incredible views of the mountains and rice fields. It really was like nothing I've ever seen before.

Arrived in the tailor town of Hoi An where Debbie quickly got started and had clothes made. We also saw their night market and ancient town, so easy to walk around everywhere! I also had my first Banh Mi at the most famous place, it was so so good!!!

Took our first sleeper bus which was definitely an interesting experience! Definitely something different for both of us! We arrived in the coastal resort town of Mui Ne where we stayed at an awesome resort where we relaxed in the pool and beach. We visited the fairy stream, fishermans, saw amazing white sand dunes and saw the sunset at the red dunes. So amazing!!

Arrived in Ho Chi Minh city and immediately noticed the high number of scooters (over 5 million!) we saw the war remnants museum and learned about the Vietnam War. We also checked out the reunification palace which was interesting as well. We tried the famous Vietnamese coffee and Debbie finally had her Pho craving fulfilled!
