Today was our relaxing beach day! Beautiful views but beware if you are uncomfortable with female toplessness. Barcelona is very liberal with their sexuality so most beaches have some females that are topless.
Going up/ down Montjuic, you can take the 150 bus like we did or take the cable car! We finished our night by trying local soda and checking out street art.
Castell Monjuic has good views! Only 5€ to get in (3€ with a student card) but we didn't go inside. The outside is free to view and walk around.
Finally had some paella on our last day in Barcalona! This place was alright. We got the menu del dia which is a 3 course meal + bread for 15€. Some places include drinks but ours didn't. Make sure your plaella is dark yellow and not light yellow! Pictures of 2 different menu del dias!

Recommended by guide: If interested in making paella, check out this class! Only 32€ for paella, tapas, sangria, and a great culinary experience.
Right next to Christopher Columbus' statue, there was another festival! "Tast a la rambla" was created to celebrate the different cultures and cuisines within the city.
Stumbled across Japanese street festival, Matsuri, near the pier.
Recommended by guide: La Plata for tapas! Beware, they run on Spanish time (open when they feel like it)
Pt 6 Amazing street art
Pt 5. Eyeball is always watching in Placa de George Orwell aka Placa de Trippy
Pt 4. Cathedral and lucky turtle
Pt 3. Cute baby on our tour and a gargoyle water fountain
Recommended by guide: Interesting flavors of gelato!
Walking tour pt 2. Buildings are from 1716.... This was recommended as one of the best gelato places in the city! The little pooping figurines are part of a Christmas Catalonia tradition!
Best decision on the trip was to book a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter! Its a free 2hr walking tour and you pay what you want. Our guide, On, was AMAZING! He had such an intimate knowledge of the city as well as an obvious love for history.
Barceloneta Beach! Amazing views and cleaner than LA beaches.

Tried to go to bBurger but they were fully reserved :( Found L'estada after stumbling on a random festival in Entença! Had chorizo pasta.
Checked out the Gothic Quarter and the Catedral de Barcelona
Hit up La Boqueria and walked through La Rambla. So much history is tucked into the little corners of this city!

For dinner, we check out another local bar "Bar La Tropical." Kevin gets his first Sangria and tries to speak Spanish for the first time!
More of the view from a different angle.
Headed over to Parc Guell. Amazing views!
Inside La Sagrada Familia
Outside of La Sagrada Familia. This place is amazing!
First lunch here and we pick Starbucks and McDonalds 😂
