Trinity beach - home for a couple of months. I found an incredible friends there who fulfill my time with fun and laugh.
Irvinebank is like a step back in time. Once a thriving well populated mining town until the price of tin made it unworkable. Nowadays it has small population but people there are remarkable. They shared with us their unbelievable stories and show us beautiful places. I felt in love with this place and can't wait to go back there-to see "my" unique cottage.
Taking a trip through the Tablelands will give you another perspective of Queensland. This was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. After a scenic ride, we stopped at the Lake Eacham and Barrine for a couple of nights. Other stops included a cheese and chocolate factory, mango and coffee plantation. The wine tasting was wonderful, and tasted flavors that are not available except in the land of OZ. Also visited a few rainforest where we saw the intriguing curtain fig tree. Unforgettable camping close to Barron river in Biboohra with perfect company such as horses, emu, dogs and different birds, and fresh fruita from the trees.

We had a beautiful view on Mount Bartle Frere (the highest mountain in Queensland) during our stay in Golden hole with the private rock pool (locals showed us amazing hidden tracks). Close to Josephine falls, Babinda boulders, Garradunga hotel ( the historic Cane Cutters Hotel), Innisfail and Flying fish point ( with the crocs in the river).
