10th International Congress on Autoimmunity in modern and dynamic Leipzig will enhance one's knowledge of autoimmunology with the world’s top experts.It is the biggest multidisciplinary meeting where you can learn about more than 80 autoimmune diseases from a variety of perspectives, both research-based and clinical. Autoimmunity 2016, will discuss the newest therapeutic techniques and diagnostic tools as well as the most up-to-date research on autoimmune diseases. The congress constitutes a network of international leaders on immunology, rheumatology and related fields, all of whom contribute their unique and diverse knowledge to the “family of autoimmunity.”

We took our flight from Prague to Dubai and connecting flight to Manila. HALLE AN DER SAALE GERMANY (Sat) Today we travelled to Halle an der Saale , south of German State of Saxony. 07:00 - Alarm 07:30 - Breakfast at the hotel 09:30 - Met the group at the lobby and travelled to Halle in the Southern part. 10:10. - Arrived Halle an der Saale and have City tour 10:30 - Free time for sightseeing and shopping 12:30 - Met the group at the meeting place (center with Haendel Monument) 13:00 - Lunch at "Mahns Chateau" (Chicken with Mash Potato) 15:00 - Chocolate Factory Tour at "Halloren" 16:30 - Left Chocolate Store for shopping 17:00 - Arrived Leipzig and dropped at Paunsdorf Center shoping 19:30 - Dinner at "Krober Keller" Leipzig (Fish Fillet with Rice and grated veggies) 21:00 - Back to hotel and stayed for overnight
Day 4 : April 8, 2016 (Fri) DINNER AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT Place : Thuringer Hof This restaurant is one of the oldest in Leipzig and serves traditional hearty Thuringian and Franconian dishes such as potato soup with sausage, marinated beef with raisin sauce and dumplings. There are large tables and classic retro wood furnishings with wooden benches. It seems to be more popular with tourists than locals, maybe because the staff are dressed in costumes. The whole place is very noisy and seems to reverberate!

In the heart of Dresdens City – opposite the Zwinger and Semperoper – you will find a very special experience. Get snatched to the splendid ages of the baroque around the times of August the Strong. In different vaults you can feast in a romantic ambience as well as enjoy suckling pig, freshly baked bread and saxon beer in rooms like the so called "Zeithainer Lustlager". In the "Alchimistenkeller" – a cave where Johann Friedrich Böttger solved the mystery of porcelain and invented the “White Gold” – visitors are welcome to enjoy the "Alchimist’s delight". Of course, a self drawn beer or a glass of Saxonian wine will make this even more pleasurable.

Day 4 : April 8, 2016 (Fri) SIGHTSEEING AT DRESDEN The Semperoper is the opera house of the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden (Saxon State Opera) and the concert hall of the Staatskapelle Dresden (Saxon State Orchestra). It is also home to the Semperoper Ballett. The building is located near the Elbe River in the historic centre of Dresden, Germany. The opera house was originally built by the architect Gottfried Semper in 1841. After a devastating fire in 1869, the opera house was rebuilt, partly again by Semper, and completed in 1878. The opera house has a long history of premieres, including major works by Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss.

The coalition armies of Russia, Prussia, Austria, and Sweden, led by Tsar Alexander I of Russia and Karl Philipp, Prince of Schwarzenberg, decisively defeated the French army of Napoleon I, Emperor of the French. Napoleon's army also contained Polish and Italian troops, as well as Germans from the Confederation of the Rhine. The battle was the culmination of the German campaign of 1813 and involved 600,000 soldiers, 2,200 artillery pieces, the expenditure of 200,000 rounds of artillery ammunition and 127,000 casualties, making it the largest battle in Europe prior to World War I.

Paunsdorf Center is the most important family shopping center in the entire region. With its shops, restaurants and services it is the largest shopping center in central Germany. He is known for instrumental compositions such as the Art of Fugue, the Brandenburg Concertos, and the Goldberg Variations as well as for vocal music such as the St Matthew Passion and the Mass in B minor. Since the 19th-century Bach Revival he has been generally regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time.
Day 3 : April 7, 2016 (Thu) CITY TOUR IN LEIPZIG Leipzig city centre (‘Zentrum’ or sometimes ‘innenstadt’) is lively and much of it is pedestrianised. Here you’ll find loads of shopping, restaurants, business offices, and hotels as well as the City Hall, a major University of Leipzig campus and numerous cultural and historical sites (check out the Moritzbastei). There’s also cafes, fast food, international brands, and lots of banks and ATMs for getting your euros. Just north of the Zentrum is the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) with the main tram stop directly in front. There is another major tram stop on the east side of the Zentrum on Augustus-Platz and to the south on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz. Leipzig’s Zentrum is actually a very pleasant place to hang out and spend time. It’s clean, safe, historical, a bit touristy and there’s loads to see and do. The images below speak for themselves.
Day 3 : April 7, 2016 (Thu) CITY TOUR IN LEIPZIG ZENTRUM : Busy and historic Zentrum is known for art institutions like the Museum of Fine Arts, century-old shopping arcades, and the Brutalist Gewandhaus concert hall. Locals meet for coffee and cake at ornate cafes like Riquet, or beer at Auerbachs Keller, an underground tavern that inspired a scene in Goethe’s “Faust.” A museum to J.S. Bach stands across from St. Thomas Church, where he was once a cantor and is now buried.

The passage and its courtyard were once used for merchants' trade or sample fairs, which were a staple of Leipzig commercial life in the 19th Century.
