ROTC plus teachers expeditions. Through a couple of different weekends we went to laoshe tea house, beijing university, xiang mountain and a bunch of other places.
Got the opportunity to professionally film an example chinese class. They will use the film we made to teach teachers all around China. Bonus i made 1200 yuan. #allinadayswork

Part two of today! Went to the Summer Palace it was stunning.
Tourism day! All of the ROTC kids were treated to a day out starting at the forbidden city. Then we had hotpot for lunch where I tried duck blood!

Well I have officially finished my second day of classes. This program is no joke. We have at least four hours of language class a day and only speak chinese to each other. Plans for this weekend include going to see the great wall and hopefully eating hot pot.
More food pics. The noodles are called hong shao niu rou and ate pretty popular. The chicken had peanuts and zucchini over rice. It was delicious.

First meal in Beijing in the books. We ate Chinese "tacos". You filled flour tortillas with meats and veggies rolled them up and ate them. Favorite dishes were the duck and sauteed potato strips.
