We are now in Toronto and waiting for our flight to Regina. We have to wait for hours and it's getting boring. But it's good to be back on Canadian soil and soon to be home.
Currently sitting and waiting on the plane for our flight to Frankfurt.

Our final day in Vienna. We are actually leaving on time for a marathon happening tomorrow. We saw awesome things today, like Hunderwasser House, the ring road, cathedrals and palaces, catacombs, the Swarovski store, and a Classical music concert. It was a full day of fun stuff. Tomorrow we fly out back home. I liked Europe a lot, but now I'm excited to go home. See you soon!👋🏻

Today we departed from Budapest to Vienna. It was mostly a driving day but we also took a side trip to Bratislava. There we took some time to have lunch and look around. Then when we got to Vienna, we took a small walking tour down the shopping street, saw the St Stephen's church and and Opera house. We then went to dinner which was once again, CHICKEN. Tomorrow we take our last tour down Vienna and see a Classical concert in the evening. Hopefully it will be a great last day.

The weather was still bad, but we still did our tour of Budapest. The tour was the same as the others, we walked around for a bit but because of the weather we stayed more on the bus. We saw the Hero's Square and a church and the Market Square. Lunch was once again provided for us and amazing. We also went to the Budapest Baths which was great, but would have been better if the weather was nicer. Our guide then took us for a surprise visit to the top of the mountain where there was a huge statue of a lady holding a feather. Lastly we all went on a late boat cruise and saw the city at night with all its lights. We even saw a little memorial on the edge of the lake for the Jews that the Nazis forced to jump in the lake after taking off their shoes. It was a great day. Maybe not my favourite day, but still good.
19 April 2017
Today was spent mostly on the bus. We got to sleep in today until 8:00 so that was good. Then we drove for a long time (with breaks in between) until we got to a town in Slovakia where we stopped for lunch. The food was amazing and the desert was HEAVENLY. Then we drove some more until we reached Budapest. On the way we watched another movie called Slumdog Millionaire. Acadamy Award worthy 🏆 it was so good. When we got to Budapest we had supper which was great too. We planned to take a walking tour of Budapest after but the weather was still terrible. We even saw lots of snow. But tomorrow is our tour of Budapest and they said the weather would lighten up so that's good.
18 April 2017
Today was our tour in Kraków (W pronounced as V). It would have been better if the weather was nicer. The first places we saw were where Schindler's List was filmed, including his actual factory that is now a small museum for him. Most of the other places we saw were cathedrals and an old castle. Then we saw the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is definitely a place I want to go back to again. It was phenomenal!!!! I didn't take any pictures because we had to either pay to take pictures or we weren't allowed to. Kraków was a great place, and tomorrow we're off to Budapest.
Lunch in Kraków is AMAZING!!!!!!!
17 April 2017
Today was a sad day indeed. We left our hotel at 5:30 in the morning and drove for a long time to the Auschwitz consecration camps. Words or pictures could not describe the feeling of being there or seeing the things there. Today was mostly spent on the bus traveling. I slept some and read some. We also got to watch Schindler's List on the bus ride there. It was sad and heartwarming. After that we had supper at a nice restaurant and went to the hotel. Tomorrow we tour Kraków.
16 April 2017
Today was our day in Prague. Like Dresden, the place was filled with old style buildings, mostly cathedrals and palaces. I really like the Astronomical Clock that was near the Market Square as well as the Charles Bridge and all the little shops surrounding it. The Market Square was a fun place too. It was at a small Thai Massage shop that I got eaten by little fish.😄🐟 I also got another necklace, this one being metal in the shape of Thor's hammer. After our little exploration, some of us (me and Dad included) got a ride back to the hotel while the others took a cruise. Tomorrow we have to leave by 5:30 to Auschwitz and Krakow. It's most likely going to be a very sad day tomorrow, but hopefully interesting as well.
Right now I am currently being eaten by tiny fish. It feels SOOOOO weird.
15 April 2017
Today we got up, said bye to Berlin and drove for 3 hours to Dresden. It was a really cool place. We took a small tour of the area and I really liked the way there was old and new buildings. We learned that the older looking buildings were destroyed during the war but then rebuilt. After that we got free time for lunch which was really good too. Me and Dad then took a walk through the Green Vault, a museum full of treasures. There was some crazy stuff in there, most of it being made out of gold. Before we met up to leave, I got a nice rose quartz necklace. Then we drove about 3 more hours to Prague, had dinner then went to our hotel. Tomorrow will be a long day of touring Prague.
14 April 2017
It's been a while since I've talked about what we did. That's because when we got into Frankfurt and later Berlin, I came down with major jet leg. It was so horrible I had stomach pains and I could barely keep my eyes open. But in the morning I felt much better when I finally got some sleep. And we saw lots of cool history stuff too, like the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag (parliament), Checkpoint Charlie, the Topography of Terror museum, the remains of the Berlin Wall, and the place where Hitler's bunker once was (it's now sealed with cement and turned into a parking lot). Today I felt better, so I was able to enjoy the sights this time. Tomorrow we drive to Dresden for a small tour and then drive to Prague.
13 April 2017
Right now I am sitting in the plane on our way to Frankfurt. It's really late right now (12:20) and I wish I could sleep, but you don't know when something is going to happen.
Like right now (12:22), the lights turned on and I can see a hint of blue over the horizon. We are probably nearing our destination soon and will probably be served breakfast as well.
Yes on this flight we were served supper and breakfast. Me and Dad's seats were even moved up to the Premium Economy seats. Only bad thing is we didn't get seats beside each other. And besides my legs feeling a little stiff, it has been a great flight so far.
12 April 2017
First day has been great. Getting up at 3:00 was strange though. But we got to the airport with no problems at all. Our first flight was from Regina to Toronto, which was pleasant for my second time on a plane. When we were coming in to Toronto, I couldn't believe how big it was. Big and magnificent. To fill time before our flight, we took a bus to the CN Tower and split off to sight see. Me and Dad took the tour of the tower first. The view was amazing. You could see everything!!!! Right in front of us was 1/3 of Canada's population in that area. I was mostly terrified of the Glass Floors, but was able to tough it out and walk as well as lay on it. We are now currently sitting and waiting for our flight to Berlin. It's going to be a long night, so I don't know when I will write again. Until then, wish us a safe journey.
