The Bongo waits patiently for the ferry to leave Korcula then takes its safely to Camp Ciste for our final camp together. From here we travel to Jadrija to stay with Cindy and Ken in a bnb till Friday when Meryl flies to Gatwick then on to Me York with Jessamie to visit Justine. I will be driving back to UK to pick Meryl up from her flight back. We will then spend a night with Winnie, Alex (they're engaged) Jessamie and Habib before driving to Bridport and journeys end. More to come yet :)

Generations ago,the inhabitants of Korcula dug out the rocks from the soil to plant olives, figs and carob. The rocks were piled between the rows simply for storage and they are still in use today. They are also good at building dry rock walls and houses.

The wedding at Chateaux de Cruelled, near Juno Beach where the Canadians landed, June 1944. The Chateaux was used by bbc radio operators to coordinate the D Day landings.
The bride is a school friend of Jessamie who was one of nine bridesmaids amongst 150 guests.
